This thread is a friendly collaborative place for FReepers to analyze information and share opinons. FReepers have a wide variety of reasons for investigating Q Anon content; this is not the appropriate place to criticize or badger those who choose to use some of their time in this manner.

A helpful FReeper passed along the following link to a group that goes live on Youtube when Q drops are released. Each live stream video remains active as long as they have new insights or information or guests to share information. Q "drops" (i.e., posts) can be read with their original formatting on various websites. Sometimes the Q drop websites come under cyber attack or stop updating. This week, I've been using the following link:

Q drops (i.e., posts) often use unfamiliar acronyms. Swordmaker maintains a list of acronym definitions to help FReepers understand Q drop text. I know the McCarthy piece and argument, and it basically that the SC appointment is fatally flawed because it does not allege a crime. I agree with that (link to 07/23/2017 vanity vs. McCarthy July 27)

A flawed SC appointment does not make the recusal flawed. If (emphasis on the conditional) indeed there WAS a criminal investigation / prosecution involving the Trump campaign, Sessions is properly recused from it.

I would go a step further, in that if there was a counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign, Sessions should recuse from that as well. This because there is a possibility that the investigation would turn up a crime, and if Sessions was in charge, he'd "pull a Holder" and bury the crime.

Where I don't go, and what I blame on the DS/DOJ -- which is successfully blaming Sessions for following the regulations so as to avoid the appearance of conflict -- is sequestering Sessions from FBI / DOJ malfeasance and a few other cases that contain no allegation of wrong against the Trump campaign.

FWIW, Sessions is also properly recused from cases against Hillary - recused during confirmation hearing on account of he has prejudged to lock her up.

BTW, my blacklist isn't personal. I bear no animus. Just my contribution to keeping the peace, short of vanishing.

There was a different piece that said that Sessions didn’t have to recuse himself. That he got snookered by careerists at the DOJ. If you can’t find it, I’ll see if I can. I think it was McCarthy, but not sure.

I don’t profess to know everything. With what we know now, I am left with no choice but to believe that the odds of Sessions being brilliant 4D chess player ensaring hundreds of black hats with a coming trip to Gitmo is so exceedingly small that it is not wise to rely on it. If I turn out to be wrong, I will put down $100 on the Browns to win the Super Bowl.

I was just thinking, since Sessions recused himself from the Russia probe ONLY and there is no collusion, but the SC is now expanding UNDER the umbrella of the collusion, they are probably not giving him anything because of the umbrella? Hiding. I tend to ramble when my sugar is low.

A Chinese wall is an institutional device that isolates certain people from certain information, usually to avoid a conflict of interest or appearance of a conflict.

A Chinese wall is absolutely appropriate to enforce recusal. Courts do this when a judge recuses, and the DOJ and FBI do this when an employee recuses.

By "sandbagging," rather than follow a dictionary definition, what I mean is that the keepers of the DOJ Chinese wall are sequestering Sessions more broadly than his recusal demands. They are hiding information from him, that he is entitled to have. For example, if the issue is malfeasance of the FBI in investigating Hillary, the Chinese wall is deployed to hide the FBI/DOJ malfeasance from Sessions. The rationale is that if the FBI misconduct benefited Hillary, and Sessions is recused from prosecuting Hillary, he is also recused from investigating the FBI in Hillary-related matters.

Similar "sandbagging" (hiding information in this case) occurs in relation to the Trump campaign, and any malfeasance by the FBI/DOJ in falsely framing Trump.

It seems like some FReepers think if Sessions isn’t out there broadcasting everything he’s doing, he’s not doing anything. That’s not the way it works.

OTOH, why do they keep giving us a date for the IG report, then new leads come up every month to delay it? Are these new leads coming from from people that want it delayed?

I’m not here to bash Sessions. When the discussion gets to issues of whether Sessions is a superhero or a goat, I am going to weigh in with my view of it. I am not aware the the Nicean council had determined that criticism of Sessions is heresy. If you want a place for discussion of Q posts among those who are following Q with an open mind, that’s fine. I am glad to see all those trolls gone. But if you want it to be only for those who believe exactly what you believe, interpret it only as you do, and no one else is welcome, that is going to narrow down the thread more and more until it’s just you here.

Yep. If Mueller has it, the minions at the DOJ are making sure Sessions is kept in the dark on it.

The more they give to Mueller, the more they can hide from Sessions.

The DOJ minions are stepping all over Sessions' turf. This sort of back-stabbing is particularly easy to pull off in a bureacracy of, for, and by lawyers.
