    Don’t know about that, I had a 73’ GT 4spd and it would gogo really good, got it up to 110 mph. But I will agree that any car without a frame is really sketchy.

    The kicker with the Smart Car is that it doesn’t even get really good fuel economy. Around 40, IIRC. The diesel version got 70, but thanks to the gummit, it never made it to the US. If I had a big 5th wheel toy hauler, I would consider one to use as a dinghy. Other than that, it makes no sense.

    The Pacer was seen as downright futuristic At first glance, yeah, but the futuristic cool factor wore off pretty quickly after its debut.
