On the opposite side of this coin, phrases that should have been fully onboarded at the outset but, fell off the radar,
"The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers"
He wasn't, "the bard" for nothin'!

This is what is taught in MBA schools as “communication”. Thus MBA stands for Master Bullsh!t Artist.

You have to think outside the box otherwise you’re to focused on what’s in front of you. You have to step back and look at the problem from “outside the box” to see the details.

It is easy to take jabs at folks for using the overused but it takes a wordsmith to come up with a better phrase. I kinda like some clichés. So don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater.
To: sparklite2
A lot of these phrases annoy because they’re shorthand for “I can’t solve it, you figure it out”.

"Nothing is impossible!" Said by a sales critter who had just promised something we absolutely could not deliver in the time frame he had guaranteed.
To which I resort, "oh yeah? Try walking though a revolving door with skis over your shoulder."

Thinking outside of the box is actually something few know how to do much of any more. People have become so programmed.
