Yes, and it transfers inland. So far most relieved in Oklahoma and dissipates a bit before it hits the New Madrid.

The fracking in Oklahoma gives a path of least resistance. I live near the New Madrid area, so I tend to watch that stuff.

I doubt that it's actually glass, nor that it would shatter (lexan) Escaping cabin pressure air would blow any debris outward as it did the passenger. If if pulled her head out the window, the decompression probably caused her lungs to explode...or worse. Probably lots of blood.

If any "shrapnel" hit around the metal rim of the window opening, distorting it, the unit probably just blew out intact.

Here’s an interesting thought, reduce weight (and ground penetration distance) by using a core of stainless steel. Difference in melting point would deliver an RfromG with a pocket of molten iron on impact.

That would create a lot of damage.
