Do you have these? Are they worth the money? I see several different "fill" levels.
Just asking for some testimonies to see if it is worth spending the money, because they are pricey and money is tight.
But we're having a hard time sleeping sometimes. Help!
We have two king size ones and love them. I have the Green firmness and hubby has the firmer Blue model. Have had them for over a year now. I like that they are easily washed and dried. We are getting two standard size ones for the motor home soon. I used to have a down pillow and hubby had a memory foam. We much prefer the My Pillows now.
You have to wash and dry when they go flat. That reactivates the necessary fluff.
Have you washed your pillow? That keeps it fluffy. I do ours about every month or 6 weeks. We love ours. Only thing is I sleep so deeply now it takes me a bit longer to wake up. They were much more expensive when we got them a few years ago but more than worth the money.
Bought two for each of my sons and they all love them. Also a dear friend called to ask if I had one, said she received one as a gift and can’t believe the neck pain she has had for years is gone.
We had tempurpedic pillows for years, but these are much better. Now I’m wondering where I put them.
I don’t buy down pillows anymore after I saw a video where they defeather the geese alive.
Lately?
Good to know. I’ve had two neck surgeries and my neck gets messed up sleeping sometimes.
We were in Vancouver B.C. more than 20 years ago when it was still unspoiled—no expensive shops—a sleepy Canadian Rockies town. A moose was eating the sunflowers in a little fenced-in garden in the front of a small cottage on Main Street. No one paid any attention.
We headed right to Joe Btsfplk’s (?) diner across the street for lunch. I ordered chili which was great until I saw a blob about 3/4 cup size. When I poked it with a spoon turned out to be a HUGE clump of chili powder! Someone dumped it in the pot and didn’t stir enough. I think there were a few words in the kitchen.
Went back a few years later, totally spoiled—Ralph Lauren-other upscale stores. Charm was gone.
We have them and swear by them!
Thank you, I will do that.
I have a standard Mypillow and I like it a lot. So does Mr. Roo Roo. I’d like to try out a premium fill one, they’re supposed to be a little firmer.
It’s not the Second Coming, but Mypillow is one of the best pillows I’ve ever had, I would buy another one.
We found them extremely uncomfortable. I think they were filled with chunks of memory foam. They gave us sore necks. It costs us $10 postage to send them back for a refund. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
No more neck pain. People spend ridiculous amounts for a bed and a lot of problems can be solved with a good pillow.
You’re exactly right, the pillow is just filled with odd-shaped chunks of torn memory foam. It’s not rocket science. The filling is good at maintaining its fluff/shape fairly well, doesn’t flatten like a down pillow does. I like Mypillows better than any other pillows I’ve had, go figure.
I looked that up, I might order that. The “My Pillow” seems like a lot of work. It sounds like you always have to wash it or put it in the dryer or it will flatten out.
We love ours.
Yes. I’m not sure that happens here, but you don’t want to buy the Chinese down.
I’m not sure you can trust a lot of Amazon’s reviews; I was shopping for a product the other day, and almost every single review was apparently written by the same Chinese person who wrote the product description and seller remarks. The missing articles throughout the sentence structures are always a dead giveaway: “You will love product! Very well make! I buy several. Give for gifts. Peoples very happy!”
We were given a soft one, and a medium one. We like our pillows rather flat. The soft one was perfect. I opened the medium one and took out some of the fill, after which it was perfect. They’re really good to bunch up for reading in bed. They stay in the position you put them in, probably due the inside of the cover is most likely resistant to letting the foam filling move around. Supposedly, the cover is patented.
You have to be more and more careful on Amazon, look at only verified reviews (drop down menu), sort by most recent because the default is by best review. Then look at when the reviews came in, all one day or in a 2 week span, as you noted are they repetitive or overly fulsome?
In the best situation the reviewers compare & contrast with similar items and you can check those out. Sometimes you learn of flaws or specific good points. Always with the grain of salt ready at hand.
LOL ... I head to the bathroom when she pops up on some show I’m watching. Don’t miss a thing.
Ann DOES love to hear herself talk, doesn’t she?
