Even in the face of clear evidence, the college denies this happened. Typical. But it seems like to me in a state like Florida, in a state school, there are remedies. I hope someone in state government will notice this and ensure either that "professor" is fired or severely reprimanded. A lawsuit by the student would certainly be in order.

The teacher has serious legal jeopardy in a law suit stating he has violated the 1st amendment rights of the student.
Don’t sue the school or the school board. Sue the teacher personally, alone. Bankrupt the bastard.

When I lived in Florida, I saw Polk County as a hotbed of fundamentalism, because the Methodist and Assembly of God churches have their state headquarters in Lakeland. I take it that’s no longer the case?
