The FBI is investigating a $150,000 payment that the publisher of the National Enquirer made to a second woman who claims she had an affair with the president, according to a report Tuesday.
The agency executed a search warrant Monday targeting President Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, that included a request for documents related to Cohen’s payment of $130,000 to stripper Stormy Daniels. The porn star has said she had an affair with Trump.
But the feds also want to know about a payment made by American Media Inc., which owns the Enquirer, to former Playboy model Karen McDougal, sources told the New York Times. AMI’s chief executive is a personal friend of Trump’s, the paper said without identifying the person.
McDougal claims that she had a nearly yearlong affair with Trump in 2006.
The FBI also is seeking documents related to Cohen’s ownership of “numerous” New York City taxi medallions, CNN said...

Trump brought all this sh*t down on himself by appointing an incompetent attorney general. And it will go on as long as that office remains virtually empty.
Now Mueller is looking at possible Campaign finance abuses because the money paid to this stripper may have come from the 2016 campaign. If not they are going after Cohen for banking fraud because he may have lied to the bank about a loan he took out to pay the stripper.
If all of this efforts fails, where else is he going to go I wonder?
Sessions made his recusal intentions clear at his confirmation hearing. Trump could have pulled the nomination then if he had been paying attention.

He's doing standard fed prosecutor stuff: railroad someone for nothing crimes, threaten him with life in prison and offer him a deal if he turns on his boss. Interestingly, his boss has pardon powers. So don't know how fed railroading works out in this case but we'll see I supposed.

So Mueller and Rosenstein are those responsible for the raid on Trumps personal attorney.
Earlier in the year there was a story that Rosenstein would be fired because of FISA abuse once the Inspector General’s report comes out.
Maybe this is all about a diversion from the DOJ Inspector General’s report that will be announced shortly.
