One thing is for sure. . .she will have crowns to lay at Jesus’ feet in Heaven. This world is not our home . . . .unfortunately the masses think so. It is very sad.
I remember this happening. Even though I was a “liberal” at the time, I saw what was happening to a decent woman and was very ashamed of the left. Perhaps it was a turning point for me.
She said she does not hate homosexuals.
“My motivation was one of love, of loving my God, my country and my people, even homosexuals,” Bryant said.
This is how the liberals and the media frame issues. From homosexual marriage, to transsexual access to bathrooms/locker rooms, to gays in the military, to transsexuals in the military, to homosexual adoption,
and perhaps other issues,
The liberals always say, that opposition to the gay agenda is due to hatred of the homosexual.
They couldn’t be more wrong, but this media/liberal filtering of the messaging, always is given prominence.
Then we conservative people are put on the defensive, to say, no we don’t hate gays, we aren’t bigots, but we oppose this or that policy for different reasons.
Unfortunately, to then say we oppose certain policies favored by LGBT activists, is too nuanced and wordy for the media and liberals, who tend to want issues boiled down to a bumper sticker slogan, rather than having nuanced discussions of the different aspects of the demands of these activists.

Anita Bryant probably added 20 years to the Republic. She paid a price as many heroes do.
She has pleased God and that is all that matters.
Every time I hear someone put forward the idea of “we need a < fill in minority > spokesperson because the liberals would not dare attack them!” I think of Anita Bryant. And I want to warn that person that they will be attacked viciously and the “men of valor” that sent them out will look for excuses as to why all those attacks are perfectly justified.
What those scumbags did to this fine lady shows us just what kind of subhumans they truely were.I hope they got/get theirs.

Ironic that Anita Bryant was exactly right. Everything that she warned about has come to pass. But the sodomite left won’t admit it.

Good. But that we could have many more courageous culture warriors like her.
