This is, I believe, the same guy who gave about a seven minute impassioned speech defending gun rights a couple of weeks ago. If this is the same guy, then I am incredibly disappointed. If I was in Virginia, I would not vote for him.
This guy just blew a chance to become a major political player. After his Delegates speech the future looked really bright for him, but this extinguishes that future entirely.

well, gee, seems to me if a candidate publically refuses to uphold the Constitution and the laws of the land, he’s made himself ineligible for office.
He’s not in the Executive Branch, he is in the Legislative Branch. “Ignoring the laws” simply means he won’t read or write or change any of them. It is the Executive officials who need to enforce the laws, and are problematic when they decide to not enforce them.
