Where do these idiots come from?

Does the GOP have no viable candidates at the local levels any more?

Have they all been flipped?..........................

This guy is the kind GOPe wants. People are dumb enough to vote for them.

I also figure GOPE, like Mitch, put turds like this up to run and then they tell Trump he will get nothing for his agenda unless he backs a turd like this.

Corey Stewart. He lost the gubernatorial spot by the slimmest of margins to that swamp creature Ed Gillespie.

I don't understand why GOP doesn't disavow them.

From the article:

In stark contrast to Freitas, former Virginia Republican gubernatorial candidate Cory Stewart admonished attendees, “Prosecute any local or state official who declares themselves a sanctuary city.” Stewart did just that in Prince William County, and he didn’t forget to mention it to audience members, bragging about the 8,000 people he sent to Immigration and Customs Enforcement for deportation.

“The only way we’re going to control the problems in this country is to stop this massive inflow of … all the aliens into this country who are suppressing wages who are committing crimes and that is why we must build,” Stewart stated, mirroring one of the signature campaign issues for now-President Trump.

It appears all GOPe candidates have been cut from the same piece of cloth. If the pattern is not followed, they go into the rag bin. IE: Omnibus bill is being passed with NO forfeiture for sanctuary cities -they will continue to be awarded our monies. They are now no better than d’rats. Where do American citizens go? We’ve pulled the rug out from under them so they now proceed to take the floor.

Rapidly losing what little respect remains.

Where do these idiots come from?

Remember Eric Holder telling all the state AGs that they only needed to follow the laws they felt like following?

That right there is the definition of "lawlessness."

I live in a formerly Republican town, in a formerly Republican county, in a formerly Republican state, and I can tell you that, out here in the United States, the only thing people hate worse than Democrats is Republicans.

No, there are no viable candidates at the local level.

If the straw poll taken that night at the Virginia Tea Party is accurate, Freitas is leading at 65 percent against 35 percent for Stewart, according to Tea Party chairman Rick Buchanan. Those numbers invert in scientific polls performed by the respected Wason Center for Public Policy at Christopher Newport University.

VA is now a solid blue state. The Dems have won the last 14 statewide elections. I know and like Corey Stewart, but no Rep is going to win a VA statewide election for a long, long time.
