For Culpeper state Del. Nick Freitas, the rule of law is a matter of his whim, Saturdays Virginia Tea Party debate revealed. The would-be Senator with an apparent allergy to making and enforcing laws, said he absolutely would not prosecute municipal authorities who create sanctuary cities, shocking many tea partiers at the March 17 VATP debate.

Freitas seems like a Flake type of poseur conservative. Virginia Republicans should give his ass the boot!
Where do these idiots come from?
Does the GOP have no viable candidates at the local levels any more?
Have they all been flipped?..........................
Freitas just lost the election.
This guy is the kind GOPe wants. People are dumb enough to vote for them.
I also figure GOPE, like Mitch, put turds like this up to run and then they tell Trump he will get nothing for his agenda unless he backs a turd like this.
Glad that he has given us more information about himself.
I was afraid he would take away some supporters of Corey Stewart. After this, I think Corey is safe.
I thought he might be a Cheap Labor Express stooge.
He has confirmed my suspicions.
If Corey Stewart is not our Senate candidate I doubt I’ll even bother going to the polls.
is this guy a libretardian?
Corey Stewart. He lost the gubernatorial spot by the slimmest of margins to that swamp creature Ed Gillespie.
I don’t ignore our laws because as a PEON there are always dire consequences. This guy needs to be arrested.
In stark contrast to Freitas, former Virginia Republican gubernatorial candidate Cory Stewart admonished attendees, Prosecute any local or state official who declares themselves a sanctuary city. Stewart did just that in Prince William County, and he didnt forget to mention it to audience members, bragging about the 8,000 people he sent to Immigration and Customs Enforcement for deportation.
The only way were going to control the problems in this country is to stop this massive inflow of
all the aliens into this country who are suppressing wages who are committing crimes and that is why we must build, Stewart stated, mirroring one of the signature campaign issues for now-President Trump.
It appears all GOPe candidates have been cut from the same piece of cloth. If the pattern is not followed, they go into the rag bin. IE: Omnibus bill is being passed with NO forfeiture for sanctuary cities -they will continue to be awarded our monies. They are now no better than d’rats. Where do American citizens go? We’ve pulled the rug out from under them so they now proceed to take the floor.
Rapidly losing what little respect remains.
Trump won as a Republican. Remember the orange faced fella that Rubio took out. Ended up ultimately winning as a Democrat. Gaming the system by playing with us. Sometimes it works. Bloomberg, Murkowski. It’s our fault.
The Bush League Republicans will do anything to prevent the citizens from electing Senators that side with them and the rule of law. If we nominate someone who is not a Cheap Labor Express stooge, they help the Democrat win. They have done this repeatedly.
Mostly they get their way and we are left with voting for the amnesty candidate R or amnesty candidate D.
I hope we can nominate Corey Stewart, he has stood with the citizens and the rule of law for a long time.
In AZ, they whispered sweet nothings in Joe Arpaio’s ear telling him he was needed in the Senate race. Whether he knows he was needed to block Kelli Ward to elect McSallycain as the next Amnesty Senator remains to be seen.
The GOP WANTS this kind of candidate.
The voters want to end the illegal alien inundation.
The GOP wants to keep it going.
Remember Eric Holder telling all the state AGs that they only needed to follow the laws they felt like following?
That right there is the definition of "lawlessness."
This is, I believe, the same guy who gave about a seven minute impassioned speech defending gun rights a couple of weeks ago. If this is the same guy, then I am incredibly disappointed. If I was in Virginia, I would not vote for him.
I live in a formerly Republican town, in a formerly Republican county, in a formerly Republican state, and I can tell you that, out here in the United States, the only thing people hate worse than Democrats is Republicans.
No, there are no viable candidates at the local level.
