After 24 years any mystery surrounding the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman is over ... because O.J. Simpson confessed.
Fox aired "O.J. Simpson: The Lost Confession?" Sunday night and Simpson walked author Judith Regan through what happened on June 12, 1994. He starts out adamant -- he was just talking hypothetically, which is weird, because if he didn't do it what's his basis for creating the hypothetical.
Simpson starts by talking about his "friend Charlie" ... whom he says for some reason went to Nicole's to snoop around. He says Charlie came over to Simpson's home, told him what was going on and Simpson responded, "Whatever is going on it's gotta stop!" Unfortunately, Regan didn't ask Simpson what Charlie said was going on.
Simpson says, hypothetically, he and Charlie drove to Nicole's with a cap, gloves and a knife under the seat and parked in the alley. Simpson says he walked around the property and Ron Goldman appeared, saying he was at the restaurant where Nicole dined and was returning the sunglasses her mom left behind.

Not one of the above? Get lost.
I think it was his son too.
Maybe the glove fits Charlie...

> Wasnt he giving the writer what she wanted for a book? <
The writer was working on a screenplay about the LAPD. She hired Fuhrman as a consultant. Fuhrman said a lot of nasty things, all of which was captured on tape.
Perhaps he meant those things...the racist comments, talking about planting evidence, etc. If so, he should have been fired.
But perhaps he was just bragging, and telling the writer what she wanted to hear. If so, he still should have been fired. Or at least he should have been given some sort of duty away from the public. Assign him to the police garage, for example.
Mark Fuhrman was a defense lawyer’s dream.

“”””””I will always remember ignorant racist blacks cheering when Simpson got the not guilty verdict
Norwegians always cheer when white people are killed.”””””””
I am Norwegian. Dat be raciss, uffda.
So, a murderer was set free in order to keep Los Angeles from being burned and looted by its own inhabitants?
Not worth it.
Furhman screwed himself (and justice) with that interview. Nobody forced him to do it...what a moron and it was devastating to the prosecutors’ case. Obviously there was more than enough to convict OJ even with the Furhman remarks, but it moved the needle to where some people didn’t believe the cops. Guy was OJ’s team best weapon.
Besides, "bitch had it coming to her".
“Charlie” is OJ Simpson. He was spying on Nicole. Ron Goldman comes by. Simpson leaps to the incorrect conclusion why Ron was there. Simpson attacked Ron. There was a fight. Simpson disables Ron. Nicole hears the commotion and comes out. He kills her too. A mostly black racist jury acquits OJ of murders he clearly committed. Case closed.
And many of them didn't care if he committed the murders or not. Others, despite the overwhelming evidence of his guilt, actually believed he was Innocent and being set up.
“Even the African American good citizens that acquitted this mutt knew they were freeing a murderer but it didnt matter because he killed White people. No news here.”
The cheer that erupted from the break room at work when the verdict was read told me all I needed to know. I really had little doubt at that point, and the reaction to that verdict just sealed it.
And how would that have been a loss?
The biggest problem in this trial was Judge Ito.
He let it become a circus.
Happened to be watching with an African American female co worker and 5 other non minority co workers. Verdict comes out and she said a sad day as he is guilty, and dont fall for those who push this off on race. He and his lawyers just used celebrity to ruin race relations going forward. She further stated here we are men and women all working together no thinking about what color , sex, opinions we have and these fools just resurrected everything that works against it. A true moment by someone who didnt carry the oppressed/ deprived cloak of protection so often used today.
Of course OJ did the dirty deeds and the jurors knew it too. As sheeple they were easily manipulated by the slick loyyyyerrs, OJs stardom and the racist undertones framed by all the manipulative forked tongues. OJ could be forgiven if he manned up and confessed but he chose to prance around like a tortured weasel the rest of his days.
Ted Bundy conducted the same sort of interviews.
From the Washington Post “Ted would talk so long as we agreed that he was only ‘speculating,’ in the third person, on the nature of the killer. I could not ask any direct questions. But in fact we weren’t playing ‘let’s pretend’; it was ‘let’s pretend to pretend.’
Mark fuhrman turned out to be very rich. Best thing to ever happen to him.
I understand your point of view, but I disagree. (NOTE: This is not against, you, but I would not use Wikipedia as a source for anything political or racial except for simple statements of dates. It isn’t reliable at all in those respects)
In those tapes he wasn’t bragging. He was trying to help a writer who he was collaborating with get a gritty street feel for her screenplay.
Nobody who ever worked with him characterized him in any respect other than positive, and that includes his black colleagues, of which there were many.
He was targeted to play the race card, plain and simple. Now I admit to having read his side of the story in his “Murder in Brentwood”, but I think context is important, and we only hear one side of it.
Howard University's law school erupted in cheers when the verdict was announced. Think about that for a second.
