Speaking of bubbles off plumb, here's this spasmic Woodard kid.
His feet are glued to the stage. As soon as the song ends, he jumps up and down and throws punches in the air. His more famous singing partner (who?) recoils somewhat playfully, but seems concerned he might actually get hit by one of those air punches.

Must be these aged ears but seems some of the performances are shrouded in higher background music to semi conceal the contestants voices. Other than that the judges table is pep rally type with none of the straight talk Simon would deliver. Lionel is the method acting coach. Luke “ y’all be alright” and Katy at times on, but then others more into faces and Schtick
