How do you bring rice into the country when you can’t even bring it into California?

Beginning in 2002 and forward, the emerald Ash Borer has destroyed every single ash tree here in S. E. Michigan. I remember back in 2006 when I used to commute to Troy for work, the boulevards were lined with young Ash trees that were all dead. The neighborhoods with old, mature ash trees, the owners had to cut them down..........it was disastrous.

Gee. I wonder.

A ban wouldn’t have to be permanent, just 10,000 years or so.

Yep.

Most countries will not let you bring food into their country unless it is processed.

TSA isn't mentioned in the article. You have a non-sequitur at best, possibly terrible reading comprehension, or if you've ever been to an airport, a truly remarkable, superhuman ability to misunderstand the most obvious things.

It mentioned destructive insects and who else but the TSA - in any airport.

(When my sarcasm is so advanced people actually think I'm stupid.)
