Mg wife took tamiflu because she was so sick. She was not the same person while on it. I know the fever and stress were tearing her down but I really think those pills messed with her head too. She seems to be back to normal now. No flu shot. Picked up the bug on a cross country flight.

What’s not true is the claim that he is the doctor in that story.
Not to mention the story itself may be complete fiction... I’m not familiar with the source of the story or the author, are you? And if any person at the CDC went missing, got sick or died anytime after that story, no matter how long after, then the conspiracy theorists would claim that person was the person in the story, in the same way that long after Nostradamus, people are constantly finding things to fit in his vague quatrains.
Definitely a risk/reward based decision.
There's a company that specializes in this kind of op editorializing against capitalism and politically-incorrect companies and industries on behalf of clients such as the Sierra Club, Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, assorted leftwing groups, the organic food industry, etc. The company is called Fenton Communications- they came up with the Alar apple scare and the milk hormone scare, among others. It is run by an old communist named David Fenton.

Yet health officials are still telling people to get the flu shot, even though it does not work well this season.
That's because there are different strains- even if it doesn't work well in one case it may yet work perfectly in another. The flu is, after all, deadlier than most every other threat out there, regardless of strain, as we found out in 1918.
Health officials have started admitting that the vaccine is only 10% effective.
Even assuming that's true, that's better than none. If you are in a high risk group with lots of contact with people, such as a hospital or university, be cautious, if you live alone in the woods then don't bother.

It is now a known fact that flu vaccines contain mercury, a heavy metal known to be hazardous for human health.
So does any seafood, especially seafood near the top of the food chain, like tuna. Notice the author doesn't bother to go into technicalities like ppm in a vaccine compared to what you consume in fish.
