Macing/incapacitating shooters with sprinkler systems in classrooms!
Yes, of course.
How about 39 police calls because you are crazy dangerous and a history of animal torture gets you sent somewhere nice where you can't hurt anyone?
last mass murderer had a helmet on.
This system, installed in a high school in Indiana in 2015 sounds like a partial (along with CCW and limited access) solution.

Some said the same thing after 9/11 when discussing ways to harden airplane cockpits. One idea was to release knock-out gas into the passenger cabin if there was a problem. Why are people so afraid of allowing others to be armed?
20,000 feet won't kill you but you will pass out or be in a stupor.
Like the workplace world? Heck, we have one to come in from the parking lot, one at the main entrance, and one to enter every controlled access point like offices and bathrooms.
Moscow theater hostage crisis
All 40 of the terrorists were killed, about 130 hostages died, including nine foreigners, due to poisoning by the gas

To hell with getting the ‘bad guys’.
Let’s just shoot EVERYBODY!!
Good for one shooting, others following will bring gas mask with them.
Useless system and total waste of money!
Bad guy will wear a mask and canister just like the guys in the army. You can buy them cheap. Thus the bad guy is not incapacitated and good guy is incapacitated. This system would probably increase deaths.
These twisted bastards put a lot of time and thought into their heinous acts. They would know to buy a gas mask.
Screened access to the school plus trained armed guards and or staff is the only solution.
Rough High School. Where was that?
The Russians applied a incapacitating (knockout or gas if you will!) against terrorists (Chechens, I think!) who took over a theater in Moscow. The gas itself killed a number of the hostages, so many so that it made the death toll worse the it needed to be when the place was finally stormed. As any anesthesiologist will tell you can’t apply such things willy-nilly that only works in the movies and on TV. (Which seem to be where most people get their knowledge these days!) The individual nature of “gassing” someone is why you have an anesthesiologist when you have surgery, he/she is not there to enliven the atmosphere.
Can you imagine the property taxes at $100,000 per classroom? Besides, mommies will be all over it claiming their widdle babies are allergic to the chemicals.
Redesigning schools makes sense.
They redesigned schools, nationwide, after 92 children were killed in a fire at Our Lady Of Angels school in 1958.
I’ll bet a study, somewhere can tell us how many young lives have likely been saved by redesigning schools since back then.
BTW, I haven’t heard that liberals back then were stupid enough to demand we ban matches across the whole United States
Denver
It was the unrest of the times
“...That has got to be racist thinking of yourself at a time like this. /s...”
Woof, Dawg Brother Eartick...
Evidently, truth is “racist”.
Hope you are well, my friend.
The first, most powerful instinct is self-preservation.
Arguably, the second most power instinct is a mother protecting her child. The Left has already convinced - or brainwashed - women into overcoming that instinct and murdering their unborn.
They’re working on overcoming the first instinct now as well.
“...lso not accept a social/cultural production line that produces this many determined shooters....”
We don’t accept it. WE didn’t create it. The Leftards created it, with their stupid policies.
If there is any blame our way, it should be for NOT getting in their faces and shouting them and their stupidity down.
And for letting them get in control and positions of power and authority to begin with.
They’ve proven they can’t be trusted with power, to exercise it in a just and non-partisan fashion. The eight nightmare years of the last administration should have been a wake-up call to anyone paying attention.
