13 Schools grades 1-12. Guess it was OK as I went on and graduated from College. However, 5 different schools from Sep 65 to Sep 66 (not due to any disciplinary actions), never met anyone to beat that.
Likewise on the college. Highest honors even.
But yeah, I cant remember anyone I know beating me, let alone you.
Washington Elementary in Huntington, NY
Then P.S. 69 in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY
We did the reverse of everyone fleeing NYC. Made for an interesting childhood.
“The lesbian history teacher hated me.”
Well, you’re a guy, so there’s that.
For a year, I lived with my friend’s family in Endwell in the late ‘60s when I was attending Bible Seminary in Johnson City. She went to Maine-Endwell school, I think.
I lived on Glengary. Went to Whittier High then Pioneer.

Well...their first language was either yardstick or pointer!
A few were very heavy Irish brogue but all were primary English speakers...after the yardstick/pointer, of course.
Walt Disney Elementary, Anaheim CA
You’re probably right. But Lincoln has money, snobbery, and the hubris of over-educated secular humanists. Their public schools were guinea pig labs for the latest liberal educational fads. Brookline probably falls into that camp, too. No shortage of money in that town.
As for Cambridge, Howie Carr mocks that city endlessly. He wouldn’t do that unless it was way, way out there.
I was living in Montreal, as my Mother had to re establish residency before she applied for US citizenry. I was 5/6 and didn’t speak French. I was put in an English speaking Catholic school where the first row was first grade, the second row, second grade, etc. I learned O Canada while there.
Coming back to the U.S., I was put in the second grade, didn’t know how to sit at my desk with my hands folded,( Winthrop, Mass) and I didn’t know how to salute the flag, or sing the anthem. Miss Wright, my teacher was a witch, and had little patience with me.
Once I went to 3rd grade, all was well, and my teachers were great.
Winthrop is a small town, east of Boston, and on the water. Nice schools.
( I should have used the French swear words my mischievous uncles in Montreal had taught me— on Miss Wright!!)
Very cool. I was born in Johnson City. I went to Maine Endwell HS
Yes, that was actually my situation, too.
Regards,
It was Rawcliffe, typo by me. I didnt do the VW thing but heard about it
Some males she liked. Lefty son of a Presbyterian preacher who was later part of a lot of lefty protests was one.

Well, we Preacher’s Kids have a lot of charisma. What can I say? ;)
yeah - because of those hooligans and vandals ( I still recall the all student assembly and the crew cut Sargent Rock style Principal lecturing us - they had to install chain link gates at the school corridors to prevent Veedubs from racing on weekends.
Us little kids were in awe and dreamt of the day we could race down the corridors too.
I have no idea how that tough battle hardened principal keep order when the younger faculty was only thinking how to score weed and get laid.
