She is exercising and in a marathon training program, so I hope she ends up losing her excess weight whether that is her goal or not.

'It's about Visibility'

They can see her from Cleveland.

“It’s About Visibility.”

I wish it was just about doing something she wants to do for herself. It’s perfectly acceptable to have a goal that’s just what you want. Everything doesn’t have to be a Campaign.

That said, I hope she succeeds and enjoys it.

Weight loss comes primarily from diet. Her knees will be shot pounding all that weight.

More power to her.

And if she ends up healthier for it, even better.

What’s blaringly missing from the article was her weight before/after the 20-weeks and 2 marathons.

She will kill her knees - most people should NOT run. Hopefully she’ll see the pounds melt away from being active.

Next challenge, snowboarding on the half-pipe.

Good for her, but she could injure her lower body. Maybe she should take up a swimming challenge. Another good thing, maybe she sees how eating protein (and fat) builds her strength and stamina up better than carbs, and changes hr diet. That will help too.

We should all applaud her. Lots of people are nearing 300 lbs. they aren’t all working out and getting stronger, like she is. Good for her. Her blood pressure is going down and I bet even her brain is getting less foggy.

Biking is a LOT less strain on the legs but it is hard on the neck and shoulders.
