We have been in this restaurant/bar for over an hour. They’re playing classic rock, mostly ‘70s. Their music service has yet to play a single woman’s voice - not even a duet. Not even *backup*. #JustNoticing
I didn’t care for it, though I did like “Cruel Summer”.

Im 64, so classic 70s rock is in my DNA. There were a few stand-out female vocalists of that genre, but overall, it was male dominated.
If this whiner listens long enough, they’ll probably hear some Heart, Janis Joplin, or Grace Slick.

I have several music apps on the cell phone. I know there are adapters you can plug into the lighter socket that has a connection to the phone and the radio so I can hear my tunes. Just haven’t gotten around to it yet.

About the closest thing to a girl rock singer in the 70s, although tending toward new wave. Throw out the folk, disco, metal and pop, and there isn’t much left. Meatloaf had a girl singer, so I guess you can throw his stuff in, as well.
