the good old days when the dems had nothing but praise for him for hacking into Palin’s emails and publicizing her family pictures and the email addresses of her kids, friends and relatives.

Sorry. I don’t buy this. I have known several people who have had MS. I think it is more likely that it can often be traced to a familial cause. My cousin-in-law has it. Her father has it and her uncle (father’s brother) died of it. I suspect there are a few causes, but the familial one is strong.

Oh, I don’t know much about it at all and I don’t believe it is an STD. You think it can be inherited? Interesting.

I do think the tendency can be passed on. My cousin-in-law’s two siblings aren’t affected. But when she first started exhibiting obvious symptoms, the doctors at first ruled out MS. I told my cousin to keep checking, that that was likely the cause of her problems. It took them 6 months before they were able to detect lesions in her brain. She is doing well, but it is progressing.

That’s terrible. It is a very bad disease and I hope one day we can find a cure.

My dad has it but it showed up late in life - late 40s/early 50s. Most cases show earlier.

The clustering has been noted before, though I hadn’t heard of a base connection.

Never heard anything associated with STDs.

The only 100% sure diagnosis is to have an MRI to identify the brain lesions. A lot of people are misdiagnosed and many thought to have MS never get it confirmed. Some doctors want to go through all other options before finally ordering an MRI. My dad’s 1st doc was resistant to it.

Repented for email hacking?
Is that a sin?

It’s illegal but a sin....hmmm

I lament young deaths and the pains it causes families regardless their politics

As do a fair number here

But repent seems odd

Am I missing something I confess that whilst saved I never infests the most pious ..no doubt of that

I’m the errant saved

I’ve tried that. No copy options. I can put in a notebook or save on drive, but I still can’t copy it from there.

I’ve never been able to figure out how to post a link from my tablet.

Well, with my iPhone, it's a pain, but can be done. First step is copy the original text in the post (doing this from the post before hitting the reply button seems to be easier for me). This requires holding a finger down on the text I want to copy.

Then you have to move the little brackets around to encapsulate the text you want.

Then hit the reply button, and hold your finger on the reply text box and the paste option will pop up. Then hit "Paste".

Once you have the text there, it's a matter of moving between keyboard functions.

For the iPhone, hit the number option, then the symbol key in the number keyboard. From there, you can get your left '<' and right '>' angle brackets to make use of html... You have to move between the keyboard functions, which is the pain-in-the-butt part.

I'm assuming a tablet has fewer steps on the keyboard, but the copy/paste function probably works the same.

I haven’t tried on my iPhone, but I haven’t seen any option to copy and paste a link on my tablet. I need to get my computer well so at least I can use that.

On some Androids you have to highlight it as well, then use the copy option................

MS often shows up after some kind of traumatic event in people’s lives. For example, people coming out of the hospital after a car accident can soon thereafter have tremors or vision issues that they never had prior...and the subsequently diagnosed with MS for the first time. Or like my daughter diagnosed 3 months after we unexpectedly and devastatingly lost my husband with no real warning...she was crushed and soon thereafter she went colorblind and MRI showed MS. I would think things our military experiences/sees/feels could cause the same. Just my personal opinion.

I understand your point, but his name will not even warrant an asterisk in any scholarly thesis after the next couple of years.

History is not what it used to be.
