I’m not sure ... but I think one of the male skaters was ... gay.
I don’t care who they are. Or even who they voted for...I just want AMERICA to WIN. Go TeamUSA.
For miracles in hockey, figure skating, etc...
And for South Korea not to be sabotaged in any way by the North. And a pretty opening/closing ceremony.
It started yesterday.
Curling was awesome. USA! USA!
What does Johnny Weir think? It’s his opinion that matters.
The commentators keep talking about Russia being banned, but that the Russian athletes who proved that they’re clean are permitted to participate as independent athletes. What percentage of the Russian athletes are participating this way?
Opening Ceremonies are televised Friday night on NBC. Winter Olympics will run from Feb 9 through the Closing Ceremonies on Sunday Feb 25.
Women’s curling ROX !
Was on last night at 11 eastern with downhill skiing and curling.
Started earlier this week, actually.
I think that they need more action in figure skating and curling.
They should combine the sports.
The skaters skate around while the curlers throw those vacuum cleaners at them and hit them with brooms.
The skaters get points by making sno cones.
Id pay good money to see that.
The only W.O. sport worth a damn is the biathlon, national sport of Finland.
I’m okay if Lindsay Vonn doesn’t when big. She needs a little slice of Humble Pie. Lindsay has already refused to visit the White House in case the Olympic Team is invited there.
She says President Trump does NOT represent her!
Sort of like that basketballer Curry in California.
Tell your hubby to hush up, the moguls are next. A perfect viewing night.
Jonny Wier(d)....not my fave commentator.... and I HATE his hair, it’s not too long, it’s too tall.

Yawn... Who cares? I sure do not and personally do not know anyone in my family, any friends, or people working for me that care. Absolute waste of time.
Anyway, it sneaks up on you and before you know it, it is gone.
Logan airport 1980. I'm working there at a restaurant. Correct? Yes, correct. Hockey players heading to Lake Placid. How was I to know that these hockey players would bring home a gold medal? But they did. Mike Eruzione and Dave Silk. Don't remember Jim Craig but he might have been there as well. I served them coffee and pastries before their flight out there. Also, I picked up their dirty dishes and brought them to the dishwasher. Crazy, right? I was just 17 years old. A few months later, I would be at Parris Island in Marine Corps boot camp.
My favorite W.O. remembrance - I was 10 in 1980 and in bed with a bad case of chicken pox so my parents’ black and white antenna TV was wheeled into my room and I watched nonstop Olympics. I learned all about hockey. I named my Barbie doll “Mrs. Eruzione” after the US/USSR game (before that she had been Laura Ingalls).
My favorites though are the ski jump and biathalon.
