EAST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. - Two women are accused of performing voodoo on a 5-year-old girl who will now have scars on her face for the rest of her life.
Police said two family friends poured boiling water with chemicals on her face because they thought she was possessed by the devil.
East Bridgewater police said Rachel Hilaire and Peggy Labossiere burned the girl and told her 8-year-old brother they would cut off his head with a machete.
Two friends did a voodoo procedure is what they called it, Deputy Police Chief Paul OBrien said. They are young kids, and they were writing it off as there were evil spirits possessing the kids.

Bridgewater is a college town, fairly nice. Easy Bridgewater has a far more “rustbelt” vibe to it. West Bridgewater, on the other hand...

I could care less about the “geographics” of that town except for one thing, the ANIMALS that disfigured that child. An “EYE FOR AN EYE” should be part of the pending punishment those animals get....but then, the perps are “minorities” so probably not going to happen.

Also as I think about it, the college in Bridgewater has a “special relationship” with Cape Verde, attracts a certain number of people from that country. No idea if voodoo is a thing there

When you bring in people who have no civilization, they act uncivilized. Solution: don’t bring them in to the country.

These two need serious jail time. Personally, Id rather just see them get a bullet to the head but thats probably far too extreme for most.
