I was one of the many people moved to tears by President Trump's State of the Union address. We all had our own insights and reasons for the depth of our response. I wonder how many of us felt as though his words began to repair some of the stealthy damage done to our national identity by the DeepState/MSM and the left.
Listening to the best SOTU I have ever heard, I can say I wept quiet tears of gratitude, empathy and relief. And there were other tears that were hard to describe. Those tears reminded me of a church I attended, years ago. There, I saw men and women of all ages in the pews around me softly weeping or dabbing at their eyes. A group of us went to lunch after the sermon, one of whom said she was clinical psychologist. I asked her during the meal, "But I don't really understand. Why were we all crying? All of us. It was a very good sermon, but I don't know why we were crying." She smiled sweetly and said, "Because we were changing." I asked her to explain and she said, "When a true change in ourselves, our core beliefs shift, we often cry."
At the conclusion of that moving sermon all those years ago, I felt the same sort of relief that I felt at the conclusion of the president's SOTU three days ago; the sensation is memorable and unique. The sermon (now online) told the biblical story of the "woman taken in adultery." It was remarkably well done, with clips of Mel Gibson's movie, The Passion of The Christ, interspersed. In particular the pastor (Rene @ TLC.org), called attention to the video clip in which Christ (portrayed by Jim Caviezel) takes the woman's hand and helps her rise from where she had been groveling face down in the dirt. Pastor Rene said Christ wasn't there to punish her (God's grace and her repentance transformed her); Christ was there to help her up out of the dirt (in her life) because she never belonged there in the first place. The way the pastor said it, the way he asked us to consider how she must have felt, rejected by all as worthless and expecting to be stoned to death, to realize that Christ saw her true worth. I felt a lasting sense of relief and somehow, different after that sermon.
The effect fades a little sometimes and after several years, I go and watch the recording of the sermond again (TLC.org) when I need to remember I'm not who the MSM and their collaborators say I am. Despite my attempts to resist the constant propaganda storm that the media; the government; the deep state; the NWO; schools and other public institutions have been broadcasting misinformation about what I, as a conservative Christian, must be, I have slowly absorbed jagged fragments of "the narrative." They all tell me in biased songs; movies; exposes; statistics; social media and billboards, that conservatives, especially white Christian conservatives, are vile, selfish, bigoted, cruel, self-seeking, indifferent, hateful, envious, untrustworthy, destructive failures.....I could go on and on. There is an equally fake "narrative" about every ethnicity, economic level, and race in America that has been crafted and maintained to keep us apart and in conflict. The motto of the left is "Divide (Americans) and Conquer. The coordination among the MSM, deep state, and all their tentacles has resulted in an altered reality of despair. I did not experience this intense level of brain-washing when I was a child; I can't imagine what it's like to endure it as a young person living today.
The destruction of the deep state disinformation machine upon us now, about which Trump and Q Anon have been warning us, can serve to erode our identity and trust in others in much the same way, as it exposes the source of the false "narrative" that has been ruling over our shared experiences. For example, when we discover the extent of human trafficking at the highest levels, among the so-called "elites", part of our false reality must be stripped away. Discovering the number of traitors, some of whom wore medals of valor on their chest (e.g., McCain), who held the limelight and accepted praise while working to destroy us will no doubt tear at some fundamental beliefs within many of us. In Hollywood, the exposure of some famous "stars" and "musicians" as child traffickers and pedophiles will further rattle many. Sports heroes and others in the public eye, praised as "special" and "gifted" are likely include some who will be exposed as "evil" and "revolting." To have our trust violated in so many spheres of our social lives may be expected to shake our confidence in our ability to judge for ourselves with our own eyes. The deep state and others will jump in to assure us that lies are in fact truth, and that we should go back to sleep, believing that we surely would have known long ago if the corruption was really so deep and dark as it is.
Some FReepers have been awake to these threats for years, crying in the wilderness to those of us who just couldn't conceive of the depth of depravity to which so many, held up to us as role models, have eagerly descended. I confess to some trust and admiration in the wrong places that will soon be exposed. For my part. I will renew my effort to focus on the unchanging, stable Word of God and stand ready to shake off and discard the lies as the swamp is exposed. We are not guilty for trusting the "narrative" we grew up believing; they are guilty of betraying the trust upon which they preyed. Whatever the "elites" of my country have done; no matter how dark, numerous, and extensive their crimes, God will help We The People to rise again, to be who were really are.
I think I, and perhaps some others, may benefit from listening to the President's State of the Union address again in the future (storm), as often as needed, at times when so much of the American experience is exposed as lies, and so much evil in high places is revealed. The SOTU reminded me of what I once believed about We The People. I had heroes while growing up, and back then it was natural that I would appreciate the flag and all who died fighting for her without apology and without being portrayed by my own "culture" as a war-mongering bigot for doing so. Traitors have held the public spotlight for so long, I silently and slowly began to set my view of the America of my childhood in the rear view mirror as a sad, "I knew her when...."; no one seemed to remember her or want to talk about her; many believed her to be a myth now disgraced and worthless; most appeared want her face down in the dirt, defeated.
Trump's electoral victory astounded me; I didn't know anything about him other than the MSM talking points. Though I viewed him warily, I would gladly see anyone other than Hillary Clinton voted into office; even a goat would have been preferable. Watching the enraged melt-downs on the left gave me real hope; Rachel Maddow's contemptuous, "This is what we've become," assessment of his victory still brings me joy. "Perhaps rumors of Lady Liberty's death have been greatly exaggerated", I thought.
Around Thanksgiving last year, I came across Q Anon; an online identity posting information that many believe could only originate from Trump's inner circle, or Trump himself. I was skeptical at first, and followed some of the drops "just to see." Then I began to watch Youtube videos and read online analysis because it's hard to look away from a miraculous, late come back. Q drop #322 had this to say, to those of us who were following along, each with our own opinions:

"It's true," I thought to myself. "American patriots fight together." The left loves division because our country was founded on the belief in E Pluribus Unum (out of many, one), which remains the official motto of the United States to this day despite all attempts to destroy our heritage. Our country was not supposed to win the war of Independence either, but back then patriots proved the truth behind the phrase, "United we stand, divided we fall."
It's been about 2.5 months that I've been watching and investigating Q drops, and I am now satisfied that Q Anon reflects the fierce will and the efforts of the president and the patriot's who are serving him, including those who move into harm's way on our behalf. There are others who don't share my views still follow Q drops because they believe the content drives the public to ask the right questions and investigate information the MSM hides from us.
President Trump emphasized our unity throughout his SOTU address. Together, we as family mourned the losses of the grieving parents present, celebrated the valor of our military, and the best of the human spirit which drives us to overcome the harshest challenges in life. Later, when interviewed, one of the women, a mother who received the public's condolences that night, would say that when she met President Trump, she was shocked at his genuine concern and touched when he kissed her forehead. After years of hearing the MSM and the left's claims that white Americans raised to despise minorities, I wondered if she was touched the same way I was all those years ago, to be genuinely recognized for her natural human worth. Further, I wondered, what was it like for her to feel the love in the room, which she later said surprised her, and to realize that We The People were deeply moved by her loss.
I would later learn that President Trump communicated more than I realized during his address. Q drops #645, #647, and #656 reveal that the president's remarks about rewarding good federal employees formally set in motion the preplanned replacement of identified (documented) corrupt employees , and put an end to the threats and intimidation they used to oppress and silence patriotic colleagues. The cheers of "USA! USA!" present were from some of those set free that night.
Those who wish to learn more about Q Anon and/or the Q drops I mentioned relating to the president's State of the Union address can find many sources of information online and in Free Republic threads with "Q Anon", "Qanon" or "Q" keywords (when using the forum's search feature). Our fellow Freepers are a good source of information and support.
Our trolls insist interest in Q Anon information is freakish and limited to blind, "true believers." Nothing could be farther from the truth. The 800 FReepers currently on the ping list express a wide array of beliefs or doubts, and the skeptics among them who post to threads usually say that Q Anon posts ask Americans the right questions about the right topics and drive productive analysis of past and current events.

Q is the new news. Straight to the point, but cryptic which causes one to think deeper. It flanks the MSM who will never report the facts. No fluff for distraction like all the networks, Fox included. Deep State knows all about us and this shows we can know about Deep State also.
And yes, the memo will only lead to more questions, more revelations, more resignations, and hopefully arrests.

Yesterday as I went about life in my small town in north Ga the locals acted the same as they always do unaware of the soft revolution this country is in as we enter into the battle of good verses evil. The battles may be trying at times but we know that good wins in the end. Praise be to God.

I’ve been thinking that the wall of information will be so wide that even if we all fanned out we wouldn’t be able to cover it. With Q pings it was that initially there weren’t many sources on FR. Soon we’ll be hip deep? We’ll see. I do know that it sounds like information overload - let freedom ring! :)

That is the strongest cognitive dissonance for me. The MSM has hidden the memo so well that no one seems to know about it?! No one I know is talking about it and the few people I tried to tell thought it was probably a rumor?! So attempts to halt the release, had they succeeded, would have worked and life would go on without anyone knowing. The memo would be considered just more conspiracy theory.
