Actor Robert Wagner, the then-husband to Hollywood star Natalie Wood, has been named a person of interest in the suspicious drowning death of his wife that occurred nearly four decades ago, investigators said.
Los Angeles County Sheriffs told "48 Hours that investigators would like to speak to Wagner about Woods mysterious death on Nov. 29, 1981. 48 Hours interview with L.A. investigators is slated to air Saturday in a special titled Natalie Wood: Death in Dark Water.

Crooked cops trying to generate publicity for themselves by threatening an 87 year old man. In amoral California, this is accepted as normal.
Seems like I’ve seen this story in Inquirer type papers at the grocery check-out for decades...
This subject comes up about every two years. It’ll never be solved, especially before Wagner’s death.
The police can have all the interest they want, but Robert Wagner should not talk to them.
The one thing I learn by watching Cold Case shows on television is that the quickest way to going to jail is to talk to the police.
This is why you pay lawyers

The “I can’t remember” defense would be believable and appropriate for Wagner.
..trying to decipher how she ended up in the water.
She was drunk and angry. There were reports of Wood and Wagner in a shouting match with a sheepish Walken. Some sort of flirtation between Wood and Walken, which was common for her.

When they say "You have the right to remain silent" do exactly that.
