A guess: Wasn’t the Las Vegas shooting at the GM Hotel? Today there was releases, by accident, which led to a third party being a suspect. Third party was named. He is a ammo & gun nut from Arizona. He is military. Shooter visited him before the attack.

General Manager, one of the passengers was a GM for Standard Group hotels. They have NY, LA and Miami units and bought a stake in a group that owned ones in among other places, SF.
