I’ll be binge watching KDramas instead.
I might give in - I really like Brady, but will probably turn the volume down. Awe crap, maybe not. Working this weekend.
Nope. Ratings bounced back for the NFC final. And in the end as much as people love to hate the Pats they always play great Super Bowls. It’s still THE event.
As I’ve said before, life is great without the NFL.
I’m changing the air in my car tires Sunday and can’t watch.
I will be watching videos of Game of Thrones and imagining Goodell is on the wrong side of one of the dragons. :-)
Note this. When it came to player thugs desecrating our flag and anthem, the nfl said that was “free speech” and failed to rebuke that anti American “sons of bitches”. BUT , when American Veterans organizations presented an ad to be paid for and run during the Super Bowl ( at a cost in the $millions) , the vets were prohibited from running that ad. No free speech there.
I detest the nfl with such fervor. I will never watch a single minute of the nfl again- much less the steroid freaks in the “SUPER” bowl. I urge all to boycott and not repurchase next seasons tickets. Tell them to go to hell!!.
I would really love to, but I have to sort my sock drawer this Sunday evening.
It will still be the most watched thing on television, but overall viewership will probably be lower than for previous Super Bowl broadcasts.
My guess of viewers: around 102-103 million, compared to 114-115 million of past Super Bowls.
WRONGO, my silly MSM writer. The only NFL I've seen this year is when blipping past it while channel surfing, or if there is a blurb on the local news. Not one minute of it, all year.
As for the much-vaunted halftime show and commercials, meh.
NFL has lost me and thousands if not millions just like me.
NFL, KMA
Seen every Super Bowl since I and looking forward to this one - in second grade a kid got us all in trouble, we missed recess because of him, I learned then it was not fair to punish everyone for the actions of a few.
I won’t watch.
Last time I didn’t watch was 1983. I was at the South Pole and we couldn’t watch using Telex.
LOL
I’ll watch. Pats fan.
What I don’t usually watch is the halftime show, which I find rushed and decadent. Yeah, I know, it’s the conservative Kid Rock, but personally, I find his music more noisy than melodic.
The key is: It’s free to watch, and the commercials don’t affect me. I’m a free-rider... wheee!
Not a challenge for me.
Brady/Belichick Patriots vs. anyone from Philadelphia?
Pittsburghers would rather watch paint dry on the Roberto Clemente Bridge.
Is the Pope Marxist? Of course the Super Bowl ratings will be down. I would not be surprised if the Las Vegas sports book have a over/under line on how much the Super Bowl ratings go down. I would put that over/under line at a about 9%. In other words the proposition would be do you bet that the Super Bowl ratings will be down more than 9% or will the Super Bowl ratings be down less than 9% versus Super Bowl ratings last year.
[Sunday is your greatest challenge]
Hahaha. Imagine if people went to Church, relaxed without the TV, spent time with family, ate dinner. Maybe even (gasp!) read the Bible. (pr look at Scripture online)
How long does the Puppy Bowl go on for? That would be more entertaining.
Goodell...the man who destroyed the NFL through greed and PC...
