I think they miss the point. It’s not a boycott. They are boycotting any show of appreciation and it defines them.
I will be at a relative’s place and they will have the game on but I no longer care. They don’t interest me anymore than an episode of American Greed.
A boycott implies my distaste could end if they pretend to be nice. It won’t and they aren’t.
