Major League Baseball says the Cleveland Indians will stop using the Chief Wahoo logo on their uniforms starting in the 2019 season.
The league says the logo, which features a smiling Native American, is not appropriate for field use.

PC is destroying every vestige of American History. The CHIEF WAHOO logo was selected to honor the bravery and unrelenting spirit of the American Indian. Out of sight, out of mind. That history will be lost forever.

What if the Cleveland Indian logo was a realistic face with a warrior’s stern expression, like the Florida State Seminoles?
Would that be acceptable? BTW, the F.S.U. Indian has the full approval of the Seminole Nation.
MLB should check in with the NFL, and see how SJW posturing is working out for them.

This Chief Wahoo thing is the thin edge of the wedge. If MLB think the SJWs are going to be satisfied with this, and leave them alone, they should think again. Better to fight over Chief Wahoo for an eternity than to give in only to be presented with the next demand on this list.
The only rational response to any SJW demand is to tell them to get the hell off your lawn.

Well, this is finally over.
All of the activists who fought against Chief Wahoo will graciously thank the Indians organization and their fans for getting rid of Wahoo. They will go on their merry way off into the sunset, never to be heard from again. NOBODY is going to call for changing the name of the “Indians” to something more PC.

I’m taking a mini vacation in March or April and Cleveland is one of my stops.
Where would be the best place to find a jersey (not a T-shirt) with a big Chief Wahoo on it? I don’t want to pay $200, so I’m not even going to look at the MLB website. What would be the names of places to look for in malls?
Last night Greg Gutfeld (I’m pretty sure it was him) suggested replacing Chief Wahoo with Elizabeth Warren.

It’s an anachronistic tradition, as are many traditions.
With that said, I don’t think there is anything wrong with anachronistic traditions in and of themselves. “Chief Wahoo” causes no actual harm to anyone. And anybody who allows their ‘feelings’ be hurt by a cartoonish picture on a baseball uniform has way too much time on their hands.
