Congress Quietly Pushing Bill to Require National Biometric ID for ‘ALL Americans’
Earlier this month, Rep. Bob Goodlatte [R-VA-6] introduced H.R.4760 – Securing America’s Future Act of 2018, a sweeping bill that entails everything from Education and the Workforce to Homeland Security to the military.
Also, tucked away in this 400-page behemoth of a bill are the details of a new biometric National ID card that could soon be required for everyone.
Not surprisingly, there is almost no media coverage on this legislation.

That’s true, but it isn’t what this verse is referring to.
No offense but I disagree. You will be able to buy or sell, ONLY with the Mark of the Beast. Refuse and you will starve to death, be imprisoned until you receive the MOTB from Hell or you have your head cut off by NWO executioners.
Scary stuff - true enough. Now, I won’t set a date, of course, on when this stuff is implemented. But we know the Mark of the Beast is implemented when the Abomination that Causes Desolation at the mid-point of the 7 final years (this is when the False Prophet requires worship of the image of the first beast and receiving of the Mark (Greek “charagma” - tattoo).
Jesus Christ referenced the Abomination that Causes Desolation when He noted the Prophet Daniel - and then shall be Great Tribulation.

I should point out, there WILL be the Remnant of Israel, at Petra (IMHO) protected from the Antichrist’s forces, during the Great Tribulation. They WILL survive to see the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. (Zechariah chapter 13)
Even so, come Lord Jesus.
Is it possible other Tribulation saints will be able to hold out? Well, I would hope so. It’s a big world.
But if the NWO finds out where they are.....

Statism/Security already outpaces the Statsi and Gestapo, in surveillance ability. If they had even half of what NSA has, they would be in hog heaven.

LOL When in doubt, SCREAM AND SHOUT-name calling has no place in an intelligent discussion. Name calling in fact makes the person you direct it toward way less likely to be receptive to your message.
I did try the link in the article, it didn’t work. After reading several other articles, I thought it was thought provoking enough to post. Clearly there is a lot of diversity of opinion. Enough interest that I would think you would want to be persuasive of your point of view.
I assure you that I am not hell bent on destroying America, so I would normally be very open to whatever your concerns are, in that regard. I on the other hand think the Surveillance State that we have become aware of has great potential for destruction of our freedoms and of America.
Had HRC been elected, I suspect we would all have been shown exactly how it could be used - I have no doubt that the lefties thought we were just one punch away from going down.

You mentioned GOD would provide a way for believers to eat. You never know. :)
Not only that the Micro chipping was featured recently on TV. People have implanted RFID devices on their arm already. So it’s here.
It’s also being touted for children - chip them in case they are kidnapped, so GPS can be used to find them.
I just think that a person always has to carefully look at how something like this could be abused, or the first step down a slippery slope.
I find it preposterous that a silly, man-made mark put on a believer can somehow cancel out Christ’s Salvation that the believer has accepted, and condemn them to Hell.
Being pre-trib, I believe this speaks of a time when the remaining world will be divided between a majority who will worship the image of the Beast (Antichrist) and a minority who will refuse the Mark of the Beast unto death.

The Antichrist and the False Prophet each have the (temporary) power and authority of Satan. Scripture is clear they are empowered by the Dragon, that Old Serpent called the Devil and Satan (Rev chapter 12 and chapter 13)

So then, you believe that verse 17 is not scripture? That’s strange, reading right over the other two ways that will be allowed.

Not really when they only want you to go so far. You will be herded where they want you to be.
But I do agree with much of what you wrote. Matt 24:21 is part of the scriptural support for the concept that the 42 month, or 3.5 years, tribulation of the saints precedes the catching away of the church.
