Then move on to Harrison (and Lennon).
Bookmarking for when I have more time. Big George Harrison fan!
Fun Facts;
A. None of The Beatles could read or write music in the traditional way. George Martin and other pros would listen then transcribe their songs.
B. Till There Was You, written by Meredith Wilson for musical
The Music Man. Sung by Shirley Jones and Peggy Lee before Paul McCartney performed it with great skill and modulation. Ringo played the bongoes.

Did I mention I hate the beatles. No reason...;)
thanks for the link,
As a child in the ‘50’s and a teen (and then active duty) in the ‘60’s, I developed a love of music ranging from classical to jazz to rock and roll to rock to blues. As far as guitar music goes, the Beatles were at the bottom of the scale compared to others. Study Charlie Christian, Django Reinhardt, T. Bone Walker, Muddy Waters, Keith Richard, Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Jim Hall, Joe Pass, Kenny Burrell, Atilla Zoeler, Jimmy Rainey, Roy Buchanan, Jerry Garcia, John Cippolina, Jeff Beck, Michael Bloomfield, Frank Zappa, John McLaughlin, Jimmy Page, Alan Wilson, and a whole lot more. All these could play rings around Hendrix and tie the Beatles in Gordian knots. I will admit that Lennon did play some interesting stuff and I’d give my left one for that Gibson Les Paul Special with the Charlie Christian pickup.
No Reply for now. Ill Get Back to this after I Drive My Car home.

Been watching Mike’s videos for a while. I generally pick one or two techniques to work on then come back another time rather than try to digest the whole thing at once.
Check out Tim Pierce’s videos, also very good.
great post. thanks from a guitarist who has included many of the Beatles’ creative, catchy, eclectic and crowd pleasing songs from the late 60’s onward in my repertoire. you have to. they’re such crowd-pleasers.
I am going to do some YouTube vids one of theses days.
There is going to be playing, no talking.
I need to know what equipment I need. (Besides guitars)

Three great guitarists in one band...and arguably the best played bass!
