I have never been. I hear it is overwhelming.
Isn’t it nice to have a First Lady who is a lady after what was passed of as ladies, but were really first zanahs, for the previous four administrations.
The MSM will figure out a way to attack her for this.
Of course, she will be shamed for not visiting the Black Heritage museum first
I have lived through 12 Presidents (ergo 12 First Ladies) in my lifetime, and it is a completely new sensation for me to be IN LOVE with the First Lady.
Which is especially weird because I am an older, straight, female person.
a completely new sensation for me to be IN LOVE with the First Lady.
Older straight guys feel the same
When I visited the Holocaust Memorial a decade ago, you were given a card with a prisoner’s name and bio on it. When you leave the museum, you can look up the name and find out their fate. It’s usually not good.
Ive been there.
All was respectfully presented.
The room with thousands of pairs of shoes from the victims made me ill
Having said this, I think the museum should be a MUST SEE for everyone!
The Holocaust victims deserve our reverent acknowlegement
One of the interesting things at the museum was a video showing Hitler’s history, where years before, he publicly announced all the things he intended to do. The world ignored his statements, and then acted surprised when it was revealed what he had done.
Well Then.
I am in GOOD company!
hahaha
Some Jews in Germany even supported Hitler in the beginning because they thought he only meant the “bad” Jews.
I went this last summer and they do the same thing. You can easily spend all day there, it is a very large museum and well worth your time.
Probably still need to make reservations way in advance.
We made no reservations. We just walked in near the end of July last year. There were a lot of people, but it was not over crowded. I highly recommend it.
The last paragraph of that article is disgusting. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Thanks for posting.
Ive been to the Houston Holocaust museum.
Went home and had a good cry.
It was emotionally overwhelming.
They should indeed. Infuriating.
