BOSTON (CBS) Remember all that talk of the NFL losing viewership?
Not only was CBS broadcast of Sundays AFC Championship Game between the Patriots and Jaguars the most-watched game of the season, it was the highest-rated program on television since New Englands epic comeback against the Atlanta Falcons in last years Super Bowl

These are the top six TV markets in the USA:
New York (#1)
Los Angeles (#2)
Chicago (#3)
Philadelphia (#4)
Dallas-Fort Worth (#5)
San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose (#6)
This is the record of the teams in those areas:
new York Jets 5-11
New York Giants 3-13
Los Angeles Rams 1st year in LA previously St. Louis Rams
Chicago Bears 5-11
Dallas Cowboys 9-7
Oakland Raiders 6-10 and moving to Las Vegas next year
Philly Eagles 13-3
San Francisco 49’s 6-10(they were 0-10 till Brady’s backup)
Overall TV ratings were down cause the teams in the biggest TV markets sucked, and I won’t even bring into the discussion how cord cutters have driven the ENTIRE TV viewership down.
what would you call a bunch of people that think they know what’s best for everyone and tell everyone what everyone should or shouldn’t do based on their belief’s?
and take every opportunity to remind you?
Looks like two games combined were still down about 10% from last year.

so boycott me, loser
[Ad revenue has not grown]
The NFL must not be concerned with ADS. They just turned down a patriot one sponsored by a VETERANS GROUP. Not over yet...
NFL rejects Super Bowl ad from veterans group that asks players to stand during anthem

A BLM propagandist operating on Free Republic.
It’s as if the Democrat congress took a knee and no one noticed because they were watching football.
Oh the irony.
thank you for reminding me the anti NFL d bags are only half as entertaining as the patriots haters,
but tell me how the same NFL that has accused the patriots of cheating, investigated them for over inflated balls, took away draft picks and suspended Brady four 4 games, that’s the same NFL that has the refs help them cheat right?
I saw that.
I have 2 words for the NFL: Keep digging.
I’m not surprised it took Patriots to bring the fans back to the NFL for the playoffs.
Boycott you? Why? Are you important? (Other than in your own mind, of course.)

Speaking of excuses...
so boycott free republic pretend I took a knee and free republic didn’t stop me
it’s no more ridiculous than you not watching football cause some anti american liberal idiot like kapernick hates the USA
If you watch the Patriots you might like still the USA - but you havent yet realized they are Hulk Hogan: the eternally victorious face of a carefully stage-managed commercial product. Their upcoming 35-30 Super Bowl win featuring another late 4th quarter drive by Tom Brady will complete this seasons script nicely.
...
It’s all staged. That must be why Goodell unfairly went after Brady a couple of years ago.
Really?
and take every opportunity to remind you?>
Since you keep posting on this topic, I would say that you would call that bunch of people...you.
I don't think there's a hat large enough to contain your head.
“I am a woman and I love football. Only watched college this fall/winter.”
Me, too. College football ball was a blast this past season, but of course I have my UW Badgers to thank for that! ;)
