I am still confused, maybe because I am stupid, but I do not see a problem with what I posted. Please explain for this very slow person.

LOL.

If YOU were the CEO, the business would go bankrupt due to deficiency in management at the top.

Regards the present topic,

Aswholes who consume laundery detergent (!) for kicks are too stupid to participate in life.

You don't know about business. It's not the job of a CEO to be Morton Downey Jr. A business doesn't need a CEO that people are too stupid for life.

Look up Tylenol from the 80's.

I’ve been using laundry soap pods for years and have never had the first thought about eating one.

Been running business since 1983, at a profit, each and every year.Making payroll, keeping the expense to positive cash flow in the positive. I got a good understanding.

I also have a good understanding of where you come from.

You can fool the mirror, and a few readers here, but generally, your abilities are fading fast.

People were afraid to buy Tylenol due to the cases of tampering and the hysteria because of the tampering and deaths.

So yes, it was a good idea for the CEO (or whoever) to redesign the package to make it secure, and I’m guessing a big ad campaign to show the improved, tamper-proof packaging. And people bought it again because they didn’t fear that they would die from taking it. Smart business move, and no doubt saved the company from ruin.

I’m guessing that most folks that buy the tide pods aren’t going to stop buying them out of fear that it might kill them.

A side note - Tylenol came up with the tamper-proof packaging pretty quickly. With help from the FDA - but they weren’t forced to. It was 7 years later when the government came up with rules to make stuff like that tamper-proof. So - yes, the free market does work, and better and more quickly than the government.

I didn’t say the government should get involved. I said the CEO should. It’s not good business to have people dying from your product, even if they are being stupid.

How can people be so stupid...

I was in a restaurant and saw a group of teens in a booth taking turns to see how long they could shine a green laser pointer in their eyes before blinking.

I had to leave mid meal. Couldn't watch any more of it.

If was the CEO, I’d pull the product and redesign.

If it were small children eating them, I'd be inclined to agree with you. Make them look less colorful. But we're talking college students here.

Sadly though, I predict a less toxic formula is in the works. Of course, they won't clean clothes very well but at least people won't get sick when they eat them.

Actually, it started out with lots of toddlers eating them. Sadly though, I predict a less toxic formula is in the works. Of course, they won't clean clothes very well but at least people won't get sick when they eat them.

They need to just change the design.

BINGO! MY wife took a 7 day cruise with her family and I stayed home to take care of the farm. I had 3 nights where grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup, made with milk instead of water, was the main course! And I’m 58...
