Televangelist Kenneth Copeland announced on his website this week that his duplicitous fleecing operation Kenneth Copeland Ministries (KCM) has taken possession of a Gulfstream V airplane. (HT: Christian Daily Reporter)
"What a wonderful gift!" Elite CX Team Leader Charlie Bollinger wrote about the purchase on his KCM blog. "We knew the Gulfstream V would come quickly, and now we have it. And its all because of you, the faithful KCM Elite CX Team memberscombined with the blessings of a FAITHFUL GOD!" Copeland didn't disclose how much the "ministry" paid for the GV.
KCM explained that the Holy Spirit had confirmed that the Gulfstream V was "the plane the Lord had set aside" for the organization. (Because, you know, God has a giant hangar in the sky from which he sends extravagant gifts to good little televangelists or something!)

Anyone stupid enough to fund his airplane is too stupid to be entrusted with their money, anyway. If he didn’t take their money, they’d find some other scam artist to lighten their wallets.
I always admired Scott's integrity. He never pretended the money was a charitable contribution. He made it clear that the 'donations' weren't tax deductible, and that you giving money to HIM to spend however he wanted. And he'd show videos of his harem and the Tennessee Walkers so you could see how the money was spent. That's more than a lot of 'preachers' will do.
The real damage comes from those who are turned-off permanently from Christianity because of guys like Copeland.
This guy might be a piker. Franklin draws in well over $1 million a year between the two charities. Don't be using Franklin Graham for your poster child.
Good point. If the Creator is really advising Copeland on his aircraft purchases, why didn’t He provide Copeland with a new, top of the line G650?

Sanctimony.
How did Billy Graham travel? I am sure it was more modest but also practical.
I don’t have a doctorate in divinity, but as a layman, I’m going to go with a definite “not guilty.”
What if Jesus wanted him to buy a different plane, or maybe a helicopter? How does he know Jesus wanted him to pay cash? It must be so nice to be so much closer to Gd than the rest of us because then you understand these tough questions.
Id never turn to a new religion because some preacher made a ton of money off it. Someone like Saint (mother) Theresa is more of a better example. Finding meaning and happiness in service. That is so hard for me.
If one of these wealthy preachers brings someone to the religion, they are just looking for money. So what is the point?
Lot of competition our there for the $$$$$
Yes, and she knows all about sin.
Sorry, but that’s ridiculous.
So you think the Holy Spirit told him to buy a Gulfstream?
