Maine has a female Somali police officer?
There goes Maine.

So many questions come to mind. I just will ask, doesn’t she know how to behave, to avoid being arrested? Is there more to the story? Did she identify herself as a police officer, though out of her jurisdiction, and did the situation escalate out of control?
I do believe they have a Somali problem in Maine. Which is likely why they have a female Somali police person.
Notice they aren’t described as “American”, but are described as “Somali”.
There’s your first problem there.
Ugh. Ja Rule and Ashanti just left my town.
The riff raff they brought about was enough to devalue property.
Real cops are trained to know that there is no right to resist even an unlawful arrest.

Portland officer arrested in Worcester alleged she was racially profiled
Police, meanwhile, say Zahra M. Abu, 24, was asked to leave a concert hall at least two dozen times, assaulted the venue’s head of security, and swore at police and staff.
A Portland police officer arrested at a nightclub in Worcester, Massachusetts, last weekend had pushed patrons and grabbed the chief of security before being told to leave two or three dozen times by staff or police, court records state.
But during her arrest, Zahra M. Abu told to a passer-by that she was the victim of racial profiling, according to a police report filed in support of five misdemeanor charges, including assault and battery, resisting arrest, trespassing, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
The 24-year-old Portland resident is on paid administrative leave from her job pending a review of the incident. She has not yet publicly responded to the allegations. Members of Abu’s family declined to comment this week when contacted by phone at their home.

At least she didnt shoot any Austrailians.

A generalization?
This muzzie police office is in Portland, Maine, in Maine’s First Congressional District....20% of the state of Maine, and a liberal mecca. Also a mecca for illegal aliens and “refugees.”
Portland has as much in common with the rest of Maine like Austin, Texas has in common with the Panhandle of Texas....nothing at all, except being in the same state.
Maine’s Second Congressional District is 80% of the state and went for Trump by 10 points in 2016, giving him one electoral vote. Hillary won the state by 2.7% because the bulk of Maine’s population is in the First Congressional district.
I’ve lived in Maine for 25 years and I saw my first Somali last year, at Sam’s Club in Bangor. The man was wearing a muslim gown and cap and looked like he just beamed over from the Horn of Africa.
Ultra-conservative governor, Republican Paul LePage, was elected in 2010 and re-elected in 2014. Le Page ended Maine’s status as a sanctuary state within 48 hours of being sworn into office in January, 2011.
John Baldacci, Maine’s previous governor and a democrat, is the one who offered generous welfare benefits for “refugees,” and that is why these Somalis came here, re-locating mostly from Georgia and settling for the most part in Lewiston, Maine but also in Portland.

I’ve heard long-time Mainers call the Portland area North Massachusetts. LOL!
Then again, prior to 1820, all of Maine was part of Massachusetts.
In a political sense, Portland, Maine has a great deal in common with Portland, Oregon; just on a smaller scale.
