First off, this this is Hollywood, so they can pay actors what they choose and base it on what audiences are willing to see. I assume Michelle Williams signed a contract and knew what she would be paid.

And Wahlberg, no matter what you think of him, is clearly a bigger star and name than Michelle Williams.
