Sometimes that'll unexpectedly get you through the worst of disasters. Do you remember the baker in white on top of the stern of the sinking Titanic in the James Cameron movie, he'd been drinking hard and was lurching into things?
That really happened. He was plastered, Titanic sank from beneath his feet. The desperate crowd in the water didn't get him, he paddled around in freezing water for two hours and a lifeboat picked him up. He attributed his survival to being blitzed. :-)

ON one such occasion I was stopped at a controlled intersection waiting for the green light, when another vehicle pulled alongside mine. It's occupant was an elderly Hasidi gentleman complete in traditional garb with top hat.
Looking at the mad rush of people running for shelter, we turned to look at each other whereupon the older gentleman shook his head and shrugged his shoulders, as if to say; what's the point,? If it's your time to go, it's your time to go.
Question:
If a missile did hit one of the islands, would just the island that was hit flip over or would all the islands in the chain flip over in unison?
