OK, so employees can isolate a specific person’s messages, and messages to a specific person. This is proof.
Can these same employees insert words into or delete words from the communication?
After all, it is digital.
It would depend on Twitter’s user agreement info and whether DM’s are considered private property.
If they are, then releasing them could open Twitter up to all kinds of legal trouble. If they are not, then they could be considered fair game and that could have a detrimental impact on Twitter.
It’s probably doable on Twitter’s end, but not on the user end. You can’t edit them, just delete them.
However even that can be problematic. I’ve deleted Tweets across several accounts I manage and even my own Twitter acco. They will seemingly disappear from that timeline, but when I log out and check from another account or even another device, the Teeet I deleted is still there, just not visible to the account I deleted it from.
