For some Georgia fans Mondays loss to Alabama in the College Football Championship, though tragically heartbreaking, filled them with hope and pride.
For other Bulldogs watchers it was deja vu watching a team rise in joy only to crumble in defeat.
And yet for others, the overtime loss was the result of a sinister force -- the Big Ten referees officiating the game.
Media outlets and fans alike point to a litany of missed calls that allowed Alabama to claim its fifth title in nine seasons.
Here are some of the cited incidents of flagrant favoritism to the Tide:
Bulldogs are ahead 20-13 with 4 minutes in regulation. Alabama faces a fourth-and-4. Tua Tagovailoa hits Calvin Ridley in the back of the end zone to tie the game.
In the third quarter, Georgia appeared to block a punt. Georgias Tyler Simmons was called offside ... but was he?
TV cameras caugh several missed facemask pulls.

Probably not the one cited. The one I mentioned, the receiver caught the pass and skirted the sideline for several steps before he moved away from the sideline. The replay showed one step where his shoe was against the sideline with no green at all between the shoe and sideline. Could definitely have been called out, but wasn't.
Alabama lost to Clemson on a dubious pick call last year, and they never called holding. Nobody cared. Look up the number of holds called on Alabama opponents during the past three years.
Quote the Atlanta Urinal and Constipation all you want. They still think Hillary won.

I thought you’d be making a joke about the company that owns them ;)
LOL! I like it! Nick Saban collided with the RUSSIANS to steal the championship from UCF!
The victory was watching President Trump with the crowd.
Saban used fresher younger players in 2nd half, and that turned the tide (no pun intended). Seahawks did something similar in super bowl vs Denver. Relaxed, showered adjusted uniforms during loooong half time show. Came out and walloped the Broncos. Game is so intensely physical and fast, with so many substitutions it is very difficult for defense to play against rested, fresher, younger talented players.
The refs absolutely robbed Georgia... especially the call on the blocked punt.
That ball was ours and on about Alabama’s 25.
