The Golden Globes ratings were down again this year. It probably didn’t help that the Hollywood hypocrites announced they would lecture the nation on sexual abuse at the annual festivities.

Oprah Winfrey led the way when she lectured the nation and white males for the monstrous sexual abuse culture in Hollywood during her Golden Globes speech.
Most all of the men accused of abusive behavior against women in the past several months are liberal elites.
The ratings were down by 5%. Variety reported:
The 2018 Golden Globes were down in the Nielsen ratings compared to last year.
The Golden Globes, airing on NBC, drew a 5.0 rating in adults 18-49 and 19 million viewers. That is an approximate drop of approximately 11 percent in the demo and 5 percent in total viewers compared to 2017’s final numbers (5.6, 20 million). The 2016 Golden Globes finished out with a 5.5 and 18.7 million.
In addition, in metered market households, this year’s ceremony drew a 13.4 rating, up slightly from the 13.3 from last year’s ceremony.
Earlier on NBC, the Golden Globes red carpet arrivals drew a 2.2 and 10 million viewers.

I cannot imagine any scenario in which I would watch five minutes of this bilge.

Only about 5% of the entire USA population watched this Golden Globes Awards failed, farce in total. And, that number might be lower if the TV viewer ratings include Canada and the rest of the world. Sad...to say the least.
On the other hand, Obama/Clinton/Oprah Winfrey, Media accused, “Insane & Unbalanced”, POTUS, Donald J. Trump, received cheers, ovations & salutes at the the Farm Bureau Convention in Tenneesee, and the massively attended Championship football game between Georgia & Alabama about 70,000-90,000 people. Go, POTUS, DJT...MAGA!!!
Methinks, the Democrats are going to lose both the Senate and House.....big time, come November. And...I can assure you all, Ms. Oprah Winfrey will not help the Democrats or herself.

Agree, read all the responses, nobody mentioned the elephant in the room, pardon the pun. They all dressed in black for sexual misconduct of males. Then proceeded to wear skimpy outfits, showing boobs, butts, and slits in dresses from floor to hip, so I wondered how this jived with what they were trying to say to the audience?
I can spell it in one word.... HYPOCRITE !!!
For actors and yes, actresses, its about the bucks, the glamor, the jobs, and perhaps the casting couch, for males and females to promote and enhance their careers. Hollywood is filled with wanna be actors, and predators know it, but everyone is not a predator. So if your gonna talk the talk, seems to me you should walk the walk, even if it means the end of your career. Just sayin.
Who hasn't heard of the casting couch since the 1920's?? People that go to hollyweird pretty much know how it works before they get there and I am pretty sure they are willing to play the system to become a big movie star..
The ones making the noise now are either the b-listers pissed off that they didn't make it or the a-listers that think now, they are above it all and we deserve to hear their pontifications.
#metoo was all about getting Roy Moore, and eventually Trump.
I think this will actually morph further that all women deserve reparation payments like the blacks are shooting for.

On Monday’s Mark Levin show, Oprah’s speech at the Golden Globes was an outrageous diversion and a humiliating embarrassment.
She didn’t call out anyone by name, she didn’t point a finger at the audience and admonish the actors, nothing about the culture of sexual debauchery and molestation in the entertainment industry.
No wonder Hollywood cheered. Why didn’t they have a rolling screen of the names of men in Hollywood who have sexually harassed women?
