The Ocean is a deep and scary world that is completely removed from most of our lives. In this video I explore just how deep the ocean actually is while discussing some of the strange life down there... and other just plain weird and odd things about the ocean. Feel free to leave any comments and share what you found interesting, or anything else you think that I should have added!

One of my lib relatives said the ocean is full of plastic bags!
Tell your lib relative to go right in, clean the mess up and show us rightwingers we’re a bunch of meanies for polluting the ocean.
That was cool!
You don’t know what I think. Change headline to: The ocean is way deeper than many people assume.
There is water at the bottom of the ocean.
Nah, I still think that it only goes all the way to the bottom.
What is the deepest part of the ocean?
The bottom.
Awesome video. Thank you for posting it.
And people born up in the fifties and sixties grew up when oceanographic documentaries were popular television fare.
Jacques Cousteau’s films were popular enough to generate a pop song about him.
In another 20 or 30 years Desalination technology is going to change the world. 98% of the world’s water cannot be used for drinking or crops. It is already 50% cheaper than it was 15 years ago.
Droughts will be non-existent once we can use all that ocean water.
And a couple hundred good SeaWater pipelines, and the world will have more than enough water.
Videos like this, and the ones comparing the size of stars and the scale of things from quarks to the visible universe leave me in the fetal position. I just cant wrap my head around our place in the universe sometimes.
Of course, environmentalists heads are going to explode.
not gonna happen. instead the money will go to corruption, wars, social programs, politicians pet projects and cronies. because thats where it always goes.
Yes, it’s fascinating.
No, it’s not deeper than I think. I’ve looked at it all over the world on a fathometer, including the Marianas trench. It is deep, dark and big. Really, really big.
