I have a question.
Tonight, on the New Year's Eve Times Square webcast, I have been seeing person after person saying that their wish for the new year is that our country would have more compassion.
I don't know about you, but I don't think that we've lost any of our compassion. Why do you think THEY think that compassion is lost?
“We can always be more compassionate.”
Eventually we learn that the best expression of our Love is to help them learn to deal with their disappointment.
They want everything for free with no one having to work for anything and all of the resources in the Nation split among all of those who spend a night within the borders.
First, we have no shortage of compassion. But as usual we have conflation taking place.
What they mean when they say they want more compassion is they want a policy that they agree with it on (you name it).
They conflate compassion for policy.
I can have a policy that says, for example, I will only fee homeless if they agree to enter a program. Some would say that not feeding them without condition shows a lack of compassion. Others would say that feeding homeless without a program to help is not compassionate.
Or something like that. Happy New Year to all on FR!
Translation: More people should do what I demand.
If you really cared about my feelings, then you would ....(fill in the blank.)
I Love Ben Shapiro’s response to “You are making me feel .....”
His response, “Facts don’t care about feelings.”
My response, “You are merely choosing your feelings based upon the judgement you are imposing upon the situation.
God hears us cry babies just as we hear our young children!
Is is compassionate for socialist Venezuela to starve its children?
They are idiots
We rejected Hillary Clinton
There is no politician with less soul or compassion
Her insincerity and coldness were manifest
No - “we ‘ are not less compassiknare
We are just ... woke
Compassion is about doing the right thing
Not always the popular or easy thing
I think it’s a liberal inside joke indicating that they hope “Haterz” (their term for Republicans) stop kicking puppies and starving children for sport (their “go to” false accusations). The speaker believes he/she is extremely compassionate and only wishes others (conservatives) were as “ultra liberal” as they fantasize themselves to be.
ps. Define ‘compassion’
Compassion, don’t hold me responsible for your feelings!!!
Earlier today my wife played a beautiful song using a YouTube video on her cell phone. While it sounded great, I explained to her that it was an emotionally manipulating song, similar to the way I would destabilize a person’s consciousness
to manipulate them with stage hypnosis techniques.
I’ve spent over twenty years studying charismatic and mind control manipulation techniques used in religious settings by visiting and observing religious services and cults. My defense walls go sky high as soon as I observe anyone using the techniques.
Compassion without consequence and accountability is more akin to noblesse oblige than to justice

As far as I’m concerned we’re way too compassionate.
There needs to be more holding people responsible for their actions and less undeserved and delegated compassion.
The state needs to get out of the compassion business.
Compassion... a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering
They mean that our President and the evil people who voted for him hate People with melanin. They are told this, and without any evidence, they are still gullible enough to believe it. Because it makes them appear better than us. They will believe ANYTHING that makes them appear better than us.
Well said.
Not having any more of the guilt tripping.
I am an extreme empath.. by definition, an empath is:
a person with the ability to understand or perceive the mental and/or emotional state of another individual.
It is more of a curse than a blessing as I am like a walking MRI, feeling the emotional and physical pain of others. It was very difficult when I was dating as I would know a persons unresolved issues immediately.
You can blindfold me and I still feel the tightening of throat muscles, the knots in the stomach, the knives in the back..... (I can’t feel it around narcissists as they are so self centered they do not generate feelings, they imitate them)
The state never belonged in any form of compassion business in the first place. It was never intended.
“Not having any more of the guilt tripping.”
I make mistakes and feel guilt. But I refuse to accept guilt for merely not being manipulated by someone else’s choice of feelings in a situation.
