After having traveled to 3 dozen+ countries, I found Singapore the most prosperous looking, cleanest, safest to walk in evening, best underground highways, best airport with dozens computers with free internet access, best cruise ship terminal, and last but not least some really tasty food. And the roads were jammed with cars. Finally the Orientals, South Asians and Arab population gets along just fine along with a few remnant British people.

I’ve been to 50 countries myself, first time in Singapore in 1980 while in the Navy, later in 1997. Yes, the clean highlight of southeast Asia. Very nice place.
