Well, there it is: “harboring a vicious animal.” You see why such dogs are so well liked by people with criminal minds now. It’s a way of getting away with murder.
And so began another chapter in the Pitbull wars.
Pit Bull breed should be eradicated.............................
Anyone with a pit bull should post a $500,000 bond for future damages. I also propose an ordinance is all communities forbidding them and putting them down on sight. They have no reddening value whatsoever.
Always carry concealed. This is as much of a realistic threat as any human threat. Especially if you are a person who enjoys walking.
Man walked outside to look for his wife and also got attacked. Managed to get to his .22 pistol and killed one, and they other fled with a bullet in it’s chest.
Have something when you walk outside. A lowly .22LR pistol stopped the attack right then.

That seems like a relatively minor charge. Seeing as the couple was attacked by a pit bull while in their own yard, I’d go with some version of depraved indifference manslaughter.
Find and contact their homeowners’ insurance company. If the local office doesn’t do anything about it, a main office will probably do so. Word is that insurance companies won’t cover people who own dangerous dogs. I’ll try to find a minute to post more info about that.
I like the idea of insurance companies not covering homeowners with dangerous dogs. This should apply to people that rent property too — including section 8 housing. Make it so unaffordable so that no one will have this horrible breed.
Every pit bull owner is a criminal.
I seriously doubt that there is an insurance policy....................
Watch a really stupid woman recently walking two pits down the street on a sidewalk. Another person on the opposite side of the street was waking his dog.
Those two pits nearly drug the woman off the sidewalk into the street attempt to get at the person and dog across the street. She could just barely control them.
I thought for sure I was going to see that guy and his dog get eaten.
Hard to believe people can be this GD stupid.
I live in a rural area. Everyone owns dogs. The only problem dogs are the pit bulls. My neighbor's pit bull has already killed a neighborhood cat, and mauled three dogs.
“Pit Bull breed should be eradicated.............................”
A friend and neighbor volunteers at a dog shelter and she told me about 70% of the dogs at the shelter are pit bulls. I asked her about the risk of pit bulls and she gave the standard rationalization that they’re really sweet dogs and they just have to be raised correctly. Shortly after that conversation she was bitten on the hand by one of the ‘sweet dogs’ which required an ER visit and stitches.
To think that the shelter tries to get people to adopt these dogs.
I have *zero* tolerance for those who don’t secure their dogs and or allow them to run off leash in an unsecured area. I am a dog owner Btw.
It's more like that such people are felons, and cannot legally possess a firearm. Particularly drug dealers.
Ergo, if you're of the criminal mind to begin with, chances are that something's going to happen to bring LEOs in, and not having a proscribed weapon around is beneficial.
Pit bulls act as deterrents to casual snoops, as well as adversarial acquaintances trying to poach action and/or ripoff stashes and swag.
The only good pit bull owner is a ....
