Well, there it is: “harboring a vicious animal.” You see why such dogs are so well liked by people with criminal minds now. It’s a way of getting away with murder.
And so began another chapter in the Pitbull wars.
Pit Bull breed should be eradicated.............................
Anyone with a pit bull should post a $500,000 bond for future damages. I also propose an ordinance is all communities forbidding them and putting them down on sight. They have no reddening value whatsoever.
Always carry concealed. This is as much of a realistic threat as any human threat. Especially if you are a person who enjoys walking.
Man walked outside to look for his wife and also got attacked. Managed to get to his .22 pistol and killed one, and they other fled with a bullet in it’s chest.
Have something when you walk outside. A lowly .22LR pistol stopped the attack right then.
> A Kentucky man has been accused of harboring a vicious animal... <
That seems like a relatively minor charge. Seeing as the couple was attacked by a pit bull while in their own yard, I’d go with some version of depraved indifference manslaughter.
Every pit bull owner is a criminal.
Watch a really stupid woman recently walking two pits down the street on a sidewalk. Another person on the opposite side of the street was waking his dog.
Those two pits nearly drug the woman off the sidewalk into the street attempt to get at the person and dog across the street. She could just barely control them.
I thought for sure I was going to see that guy and his dog get eaten.
Hard to believe people can be this GD stupid.
The only good pit bull owner is a ....
Btw, if those are inches, which I believe they are, this guy is only 5'5". This might explain him having the pits.
Most pit bulls are never mean, until they’re mean.
She died in her own yard, which means once again, “they got out.” That is the number one excuse for pit bulls killing people is that according to their owner, they escaped. I had dogs for about 30 years and none of them went hunting people if they “got out.”
Note that according to the article, deputies were notified when the dog that was wounded returned home. The owner didn’t notify them, others notified them. So knowing his dog killed a neighbor and injured others, the owner didn’t turn his dog in.
The problem with pittbulls is that they don’t come with an “off” switch. Might be sweet or whatever, but once they attack, they don’t stop until they’re dead or several other mammals are. Other dogs may bite once, but that’s it. Pitts keep going.
Ban the breed. Put them all down.

BARNSTABLE MA - POLICE FOUND A BLOODY MESS AT PETSMART AFTER A “SWEET AS CAN BE” PIT BULL THAT “NEVER BIT A HUMAN BEFORE” MAULED AN EMPLOYEE
A 22-year-old PetSmart employee was seriously injured when she was mauled by a PIT BULL MIX during a grooming earlier this week.
Police in Barnstable, Massachusetts said they received a call around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday about a dog bite at the PetSmart in Hyannis.
When they arrived, police said they found a trail of blood leading from the grooming area through the customer aisle and training area, around the corner and into the employee lounge.
In the lounge, police found a female PetSmart employee being treated by co-workers for multiple bite wounds. She reportedly suffered BITE WOUNDS TO HER UPPER TORSO, WRIST AND HAND, AS WELL AS EXTENSIVE TEARING OF THE FLESH, POSSIBLE BROKEN BONES AND A POSSIBLE DISLOCATED SHOULDER.
The victim said the owner of the dog, a pit bull mix, brought it in wearing a muzzle asking that it be groomed. When asked about the muzzle, the owner said the dog had previously attacked another dog, but was “sweet as can be.” The owner was informed that store policy required the removal of the muzzle during grooming.
Police said the dog had actually previously attacked a person, and PetSmart would have declined to provide grooming services if that information had been disclosed.
During the grooming process, while the dog was being moved, police said the dog attacked the victim FOR NO APPARENT REASON AND WITHOUT WARNING AND WOULD NOT LET GO OF HER ARM.
Co-workers used an air horn and a special spray, but were still unable to deter the dog until they were finally able to physically pull the victim’s arm out of the dog’s mouth. They then secured the dog in a cage and brought the victim to the employee lounge.
Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, rescue workers stabilized her at the scene and then transported her to Cape Cod Hospital. SHE WAS LATER FLOWN TO BRIGHAM AND WOMEN’S HOSPITAL IN BOSTON FOR FURTHER TREATMENT.
Her name is not being released and her condition is not known at this time.
Following the incident, the dog was released to the owner and ordered to be kept under quarantine for 10 days. Sandwich police and animal control were also notified.
Police said they are not ruling out the possibility of charging the dog’s owner.
