Two terrible milestones have been reached in the opioid epidemic.
First, overdose deaths surpassed breast cancer deaths by more than a thousand lost lives.
Also, for the second year in a row, the life expectancy in the U.S. has gone down.
Before 2016, the life expectancy for Americans hadn't gone down since the Spanish Flu epidemic 100 years ago.
Not to mention the DemonRAT politicians running our hell hole cities who are lining their pockets from the drug cartels. They are the evil Christ came into the world to defeat.
“And states are rushing to legalize marijuana use.
If anyone ever had any doubts about marijuana being a gateway drug, we now have a perfect opportunity to study that question and come up with an answer. I do not know one way or the other, but we should find out.”
Here’s a plan. Just quit injecting/pilling themselves with this shit. Leave the genuine chronic pain sufferers alone. Marijuana a gateway drug? Yeah, to more marijuana. Just like booze.
and yet freepers rejoiced with legal weed....
its all we need....more people drugged out, tuned out.....and turning to bigger and better drugs...
“I was shocked to find out there were over 60,000 OD deaths in 2016.
I knew it was spreading, but I had no idea it was that bad.”
You believe the government?
Well done!
blame the mexicalis all you want....WE THE PEOPLE are using this crap and our own govt people are letting it in for our “enjoyment”..
Almost half of the opioid deaths are due to prescription pills.
The most likely cause is still heroin overdose according to the CDC.
I call bull. The government sees another way to control us. Sorry, but it’s true.
Why this drug? Just curious.
Well, hot damn! Is this thread about a reduction of breast cancer, or is it about deaths from opiates? Each important, but only related by death.
Until you're murdering and enslaving them you're just a hypocrite.
If you can take an objective look at cannabis. Look at the prescription drug deaths and usage from the legal states! It's exactly the opposite. Less opioid use. It's a gateway drug. A gateway out of other drug dependence. There's a reason it takes so long to leave the body. The body doesn't recognize it as a foreign chemical, so it's in no hurry to purge it. Face The Fact, it was designed for us by The One that designed us.
Could you restate clearly?
I think I recall that most women who commit suicide do so with pills, often they are also addicted to the pills. I wonder how they get factored into opioid deaths and if it is a large number or insignificant compared to non-intentional overdose deaths or what.
Freegards
That’s more than the Americans lost in the total Viet Nam War.
Genesis 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
What about deadly nightshade?
I didn’t realize how bad it was either until after talking with a friend who is an alcohol / drug addiction counselor. He says probably 60% - 70% of the patients he works with in rehab are opioid addicts.
Ah, just like mercury...
Now, I am quite willing to accept that medical marijuana can be a much safer medication than opioids. It's pretty hard to die directly from pot! OTOH, arguments like your "purge" reasoning give me serious pause...
Wow, that’s a lot of opioid deaths for a city that size...
Our bodies have a hard time shedding heavy metals. Gold mercury lead even iron, all toxic. Cannabinoids, non toxic.
Swing and a miss.
