Lately there sure has been a lot of townhall.com here on freerepublic. Are the two joining? Just asking.
hey you’re right, 8 articles in a row by Oshkalaboomboom and kaslin (same?)
Is Townhall bad?
I’d like to know what people think about this too.
I was (thinking) it was sort of a Never-Trump place. But let me ask, if anyone else has that impression?
Maybe I’m completely off-base with that. Sorry.
This is the time of day Townhall releases all of their new columns. If you tried posting instead of commenting on other people's posts all the time you might know that.
10 Townhall posts a day. Too many in my humble opinion.
Townhall has excellent articles, for sure.
Too many ads on Townhall resulting in slow reading.
I followed FR and Youtube during the 2016 election cycle, not Townhall.
Take a close look at any and all ‘insurgents’.
Are they traveling in a giant horse made of wood?
I think no one here consumes anything mainstream. There was a time when all news was up, here, and we were the premier one-stop read for all influential columns.
Not so much now. We have to surf first because the headlines are seldom found here.
I was a frequent commenter on Townhall for a few years before the 2006 amnesty attempt.. They showed their true colors as Cheap Labor Express propagandists.
Some of the writers are better than others, but most are of the open borders/amnesty mindset.
Hewitt, Medved are the worst, but there are other NeverTrumpers who are cagier about their propaganda.
Agree ....
And what would we have to comment on if we counted on people like you to post it? I post from where I feel like it when I feel like it and we have Admin Moderators to decide if the posts meet the guidelines. If you don't like it try posting something you do like.
I agree.
More people, should post more stuff, everyday, from everywhere.
More. More. More.
Ever more.
Completely agree. 100%
Even though it is a blog, Townhall is always posted here as News/Activism.
Many times in Breaking News.
I post columns from syndicated columnists that would be considered interesting. If it was in the wrong forum there are people authorized to move it. Are you one of them?
Many times in Breaking News.
I have never personally posted anything to either Breaking News or Front Page. If a train derails in Podunk I never post articles about trains derailing because I know there will soon be 50 more articles just like it.
I have seen some of my posts on Breaking News. They were moved there either by an Admin Moderator or Jim Robinson himself. If you have a problem with that take it up with them.
It's midnight in America but here in Spain where I live I'm enjoying my morning coffee, browsing the web and posting articles I hope people will find interesting to read and comment on when they wake up. Sorry if you don't like it.
You know you can add to the content of Freerepublic by posting articles from sources that YOU like.
That’s what I like about FR - each one of us can be an editor and determine what everyone else sees and try to influence others.
So instead of complaining about what others are posting, search around your favorite publications and contribute to the content of FR by posting articles that you want us to see.
Anybody can move a News/Activism post to Breaking News.
Anybody.
Oh, BTW, my previous post wasn’t to you.
Welcome, Spanish friend. It’s nice to know our values are appreciated by people in other countries.
But its not a blog. And sometimes they do break news.
I appreciate your posts.
