When news broke Tuesday that Walt Disney World has added a President Trump robot to its Hall of Presidents, Twitter users vowed they had seen that eerily familiar face before.
But not on The Donald.
No, Disneys animatronic president clearly began as Hillary Clinton, they claimed.
I see Hillary with a toupee, tweeted Jared Summers. I mean am I wrong? Wouldnt surprise me if they had ordered Hillary anticipating a win and then slapped Trump hair on her to save money.
Twitter user John Barton had a similar thought: The Trump Hall of Presidents animatronic looks like Disney thought, Yeah Hillarys a shoe-in and then when Trump won they were like, We dont have time to make a new one. Just use Hillarys face!
Thousands of comments flooded in all day, with many suggesting the face resembles Clinton more than it does Trump:
Anyone else think Disneys animatronic Trump, kind of looks like they thought Hillary was going to win and they had to adjust it half way through making it? Shane OK, who else thinks Disney had the Hillary animatronic all ready to go and then just said, Screw it, put a Trump wig on it. Itll be fine? J. Bluebonnet Williams I didnt notice how much this Trump animatronic looked like Hillary until I saw it from the side view. It looks like they just combed Hillarys hair different and gave her fuzzy eyebrows. Clearly they planned for this robot to be Hillary and just didnt want to make a new one. Miranda MAGA It really, really does look like an HRC face repurposed into a Trump animatronic robot. Jeff B/DDHQ

That is an AWFUL likeness. Probably crappily done on purpose.
According to the internet, they must have expected Jon Voight to win then.
Maybe it was intended as an inside joke by the artists at Disney.
Surely it can’t be just the bother of the art. Facial features are superficial to these robots. What, would it waste a little silicone and a week to fix it?
When you find you have to animatronize a president you absolutely hate.
Thanks for posting the image.
I have to agree with others. It looks like Hillary, made up to look like Trump.
It’s a terrible re-do. Even worse, it’s obvious to most casual viewers, which makes them look cheap and amateurish for re-purposing it, rather than building a new one.
Worst of all, the libs at Disney believed the hype so completely, they built this thing before election day.
As the President would say - Sad!
You know it has a bottle of Tabasco sauce and its pocket
It might be purposed by the artists, who like to put in little inside jokes in Disney art.
First one kind of does look like Hillary. Second one looks like Reuben Kincade (Dave Madden) from The Partridge Family
:)
I must admit....been trollin the Discuss a bit.
What?
I didn’t do it.
That’s what he said.
This looks like something more than one of their usual inside jokes. It’s a total screw-up.
Just wait for the first mechanical failure where its head starts bobbing around. Then everyone will recognize the witch.
How well or badly have they done other presidents?
Good question
Ive seen this presented but it was years ago......
.....
It kinda looks like Chrissy Mathews.
If the Trump edition is any indicator, they probably all suck.
Sounds like something Iger would do. How'd they get the puppet's head out of her ass? Thanks EdnaMode.

Judging by the second photo you posted, I’d say that face looks a little like Ted Cruz at that angle.
