A couple of thoughts. First, these parents are idiots to deprive their children of the opportunity to hear from a smart, successful businesswoman.

Second, this woman's stupidity is on full parade in what she just said. She "understands security reasons," but wants the news broadcast to all of the parents, who would have undoubtedly said something to friends and neighbors, putting Ivanka at risk.

That’s ridiculous. Any high school student should be able to tell their parents they are going to be open to different ideas and it doesn’t matter who is going to be speaking. I bet it if was a gathering to listen to the great ideas of abortion, transgender, unisex bathrooms, homosexuality, pro illegal aliens, pro muslim refugees entrance to the U.S., etc., they would have had their parent’s blessing. AND certainly if Hillary was going to be speaking, the parents would have wanted to join them. Go ahead parents - be sure to shut out anything you don’t want your HIGH SCHOOL kids to see or hear and they’ll be sure to seek it out on their own and hope you don’t find out about it.
