Track Palin, the oldest son of former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, was arraigned Sunday in Alaska on domestic violence charges, online court records show.

Palin, 28, was arraigned Sunday morning in a courthouse in Palmer, Alaska, and charged with one count of felony burglary, one count of 4th-degree assault, and one count of 4th-degree criminal mischief for causing property damage of between $250 and $999, according to court documents.

Court documents indicate that the alleged incident took place on Saturday in Wasilla, Alaska.

PTSD doesn’t make people pull guns on their loved ones

The opposite

Stop

Make it stop

It’s no joke but it doesn’t excuse bad behavior. The PTSD didn’t cause him to commit this evil. Many times, the addiction drives them to desperation. I’ve seen people do some pretty crazy things when they think their meds are about to run out. Adding alcohol makes it worse.

It’s funny that they think jail isn’t one of those things. You can watch the light come on when they get into the police car. It’s like “Oh fudge. I’m not going to get any more meds AND I’m going to jail. This was stupid”.

Sarah Palin called 911 as her 28-year-old son, Track, who has a history of domestic violence, attacked her husband Saturday.

The former vice presidential candidate made the call at 8:30 p.m. that her son was “freaking out and was on some type of medication,” according to the Anchorage Daily News.

Her son was arrested on charges of felony burglary, assault in the fourth degree and criminal mischief on Saturday.

Track Palin arrived at the family home on Saturday after telling his father, Todd Palin, that he was going to “beat his ass,” according to a sworn affidavit obtained by the Anchorage Daily News.

Track Palin reportedly wanted to pick up a truck from his father but his dad told him not to come, the report states. Track Palin arrived anyway, Todd Palin grabbed his pistol to “protect the family” and met Track at the door.

As soon as Track showed up at the house, Todd grabbed a gun. Sounds to me like this drug-addicted alcoholic kid has many issues. To blame PTSD is lazy. I know way too many legit combat vets who have seen absolute horrors over there and come back and go right back to their lives with no issues. Obviously PTSD is real, but if Track wasn’t on a steady diet of booze and pills, this incident probably would not have happened.

Why handicap your kids with a goofball name?

Johnny Cash explained that pretty well in A Boy Named Sue.

He can keep his meds if he has a prescription.

He’s a grave vet currently suffering from PTSD.

He loves his family, his mom and his kids.

He has been betrayed by our previous President who should have protected and sheltered this hero when he came home suffering such a ghastly affliction.

How do you know? He sounds like a bum to me. I refuse to believe that every vet who screws up after coming home is a victim of PTSD. That is just a WAY too convenient excuse.

I’ve heard the exact same thing. But somehow, now all his problems can instantly be attributed to PTSD, as opposed to him just being a bad apple.

"Elvis" worked out pretty well.

Does he have PTSD?

This is not his first rodeo. That is - not his first time in legal trouble.

And the last time he was arrested, I read where PTSD was blamed. Yet he was never in a combat position. He supported combat roles, but never saw live action.

AFAIK.

My point is - Too many people are blaming PTSD for their stupid mistakes. Especially when their claim of having PTSD is dubious.

You’re right. Had I done better searching for it, I wouldn’t have posted it.

Your theory is valid.

And add to the mix the broken families that are pumping out soldiers who are weakened and damaged by divorce and homes with no fathers.

You cannot expect the military to make up for the societal problems that no fault divorce has brought us.

So the felony burglary was that he was going to take the truck?

My heart goes out to the Palins. My dad had PTSD and it’s not fun. Add alcohol to that and you’ve got a mess.

Battling corruption as Palin has done takes a toll on families. Combine that with Todd’s “accident”, and Todd and Sarah have a full plate. Guys with multiple deployments talk about what another deployment would cost, in terms not only of life or limb but also in terms of relationships lost and their own mental health. I believe battling corruption in the climate of this treasonous media and weaponized federal government is very similar. Sarah has given a LOT - more than the rest of us will ever know - and I am thankful for her sacrifices (though I wish she didn’t have to make them) and will be praying for her and her family.

Sarah and Todd need a restraining order against Track like yesterday! This is not going to end well for anybody.
